Jon Stewart sized up some of the “crazy” Republican candidates, quickly taking down Rick Santorum and Michele Bachmann before setting his comedic crosshairs on the “odd-headed reality show star” Donald Trump. After playing a clip of Trump questioning President Obama’s birth certificate, Stewart yelled in response, “his mother was American you [bleep]wad!”
Stewart realized the Republicans have at least one plausible candidate in Mitt Romney, or as Stewart referred to him, “Captain Buzzkill.” Romney received some light comedic jabs from Stewart, but also a warning. Stewart advised, “you’re competing with crazy people Mitt. I’m a competent businessman is not going to cut through.” Instead, Stewart suggested that Trump’s “crazy” talk is just the type of “candy” that Romney might have to utilize so that he doesn’t fade from the media spotlight.

I would bet you “Every Penny” that Donald Trump has that if Trump were to walk out on Stewarts stage .. Got in his face and asked him to repeat himself .. Well .. The POS is a coward!

One of the glories of American elections is the write-in, so feel free. If you start an internet campaign now you could even get some electoral votes.
I think the basketball-player-in-chief has wearied quickly. You could hear his voice catch when he realized (I imagine) in his election victory speech that it’s not just talking jive now, and even though he’s running again he’s not really into it. That being said, almost any actual American citizen would have been better in office than he was, just by statistical probability (somewhat paraphrasing William F. Buckley’s comment about the Boston phone book). Maybe a Dennis Miller and Victoria Jackson ticket is the way to go.
How ridiculous is all this - Obama could have solved the whole thing a couple of years ago by doing the decent thing and proudly showing his real birth certificate. This is Obama’s doing.
What...we’re supposed to listen to O’Reilly and believe on faith that this obvious communist with communist parents (as far as we know, that is) is a natural born citizen eligible to be POTUS and that he’d never lie about this?
I guess people would choose be called stupid over racist.

I find Stewart and Colbert to be equally substandard. I feel sorry for the generation that sees them as talented.
It’s over. It’s too late to fix what’s wrong. The only thing to do now is to preserve enough fighting capacity for those of us that are left.
