Donald Trump attacks Obama's dealings with Tony Rezko

President Obama “never did a deal in his life except with Tony Rezko,” said Donald Trump on Fox News.

“People should look into that one,” he added.

Trump once again went on the offensive against Obama. His previous point of attack was doubts over Obama’s birthplace. Now, it’s the latter’s long history with Tony Rezko, who Hillary Clinton in 2008 called a “slum landlord.”

Rezko is am Illinoisan political fundraiser who was convicted for fraud and bribery in 2008. He was accused of using his political position to extort money from businesses seeking contracts from the Illinois Teachers System Board and the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board.

Back in the 1990s (before Rezko’s offenses took place), two companies owned by Rezko gave the first ever contributions to Obama's Illinois Senate campaign. In the 2000s, he served on Obama’s U.S. Senate campaign finance committee.

In 2005, Rezko’s wife bought a lot adjacent to a house Obama purchased for $625,000 and subsequently sold a part of it to Obama. The deal generated much controversy back in Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.

Trump went on to say that the President of the United States needs to be able to “deal properly” – something he said Obama isn’t able to do because the latter “never did a deal in his life except with Tony Rezko” before assuming the presidential office in January 2009.

Trump criticized America’s “deal” with China, which will have the latter making a “$300 billion profit” this year. In prior interviews, Trump also criticized America’s deal OPEC and blamed it for high oil prices.

Way to go Donald!

This could be the most lucrative Obama vein to mine.

Don’t give up on all the other veins along the way though.

Interesting. Greta is a birther sceptic, she came on pretty strong on that point. I will admit that there are some nutters pushing the birther stuff, yet I'm with the Donald when he says, Just show the thing and let's move on to substantive stuff. Trump scored big when bashed Zero's lack of leadership. Loved the end when they both agreed that Zerocare should go straight to the Supreme Court. Anything else is wasting huge amounts of time and money.

Intesting analogy at the end: the BC issue is simple to resolve, and an ordinary person would just do it; Obama won't. Likewise with Ocare: it could be fastracked to the Supreme Court, but they won't do it. A good leader face the music and live with the results; why won't this administration?

Obama has kept his Senate records off limits to the public (appointments and schedule) . All lost. Trump digging in Chicago should be interesting.
