Obama will be re-elected because GOP can't win (Oh well, that's it then)
The Orlando Sentinel ^ | April 4, 2011 | Mike Thomas

Posted on 04/04/2011 4:53:52 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

President Barack Obama announced his re-election campaign Monday.

He doesn't have to win because the Republicans are going to lose.

Pending an economic collapse, or a picture of George Soros holding baby Obama in a Kenyan church, this race is over.

Even Republican mastermind Karl Rove thinks Obama is the favorite.

Obama is not Jimmy Carter. This is not 1979.

There is no Ronald Reagan in sight.

The Republicans are having trouble coming up with sane, credible candidates who can win.

But they aren't stepping forward because they are, well, sane and credible.

This includes Jeb, the right Bush at the right time with the wrong last name. Jeb is holding out for 2016, when there will be no incumbent.

You know the Republicans are in trouble when a Harris poll showed Donald Trump was tied with Mitt Romney as the preferred GOP candidate after coming out with his birther platform.

The Dow is close to 12,500, hiring is up, unemployment is down, foreign investors are still buying our debt, and the angry people at rallies are getting boring. It's just hard to stay that fired up about the stimulus.

Next year the country should be in much better shape than it was in 2008......

"...one of the best politicians of our times who will have $1 billion at his disposal..."

Hahahaha! He's never won an election where his opponent wasn't already dealt with in the Chicago style, and yes, I'm including Sen. McCain in that. If you want to see how to throw a race, watch the McCain speeches and rallies from 2008, excluding those with Gov. Palin speaking. Does he actually already have a billion dollars in the bank, or is that more horse squeeze from the lying DNC/MSM cabal?

The republicans are going to cause him a lot of grief and Hillary will probably take him out so she can run. She probably made a better deal with Sorros. Sarah will make some big inroads in national politics and I doubt that the demorats will choose the republican POTUS candidate this time.

Well, isn’t this the same line that we were given prior to the 2010 elections? That conservative Republicans couldn’t win?

Let’s do it!

I think he can be beaten. I paid $4/gallon for gas today and it’s only April 04. It’s gonna hit %4/gallon this summer. That alone could sink him even if he spends a billion dollars. Hell, that alone could sink this country.

This guy’s writing style is ridiculously childish, but what can one expect from a typical Obama suck up.

Republican mastermind Karl Rove, eh?

I suspect Karl Rove would rather see Obama win than Sarah Palin, because Palin would deconstruct the pork machine that the Republican insiders have been building up for so many years, working closely with the Democrats.

Anything would be better than that, says Rove, and Gramnesty, and McCain, and the rest of the political pros.

Well, one thing you have to say for the rats and their todies: they are certainly on message. This, and all the other columns springing up the last few days, are practically plagiarizing each other. "Republicans and Tea Party types are insane. They want to cut the budget by .04%".

What deep thinkers they are. We better take their advice, since their motives are pure and their view of things is so even handed.

This is the same steaming pile that Brit Hume tried to pass off on O’Reilly tonight. He says Bachman and Palin don’t have the “world view” or “frame of reference” (whatever the HELL that is!) to be President and of course they are maybe “too right wing”. Newt he says is just so brilliant but has too much baggage, and while Romney is really pretty and all, that doggone Romneycare is just going to drag him down.

So Mr. Hume, who at times acts like a smart man, concludes that Tim Pawlenty is “a good man”, a “good looking man” - and probably the “most acceptable alternative” to Obama.

And these maroons get paid to spew crap like this???

Bernie Goldberg just said on BOR that a person in a position to know is that Trump had made up his mind and he WILL run for the nomination, barring unfoseen circumstances.

You heard it here first ;-)

Its best to keep the Democrats thinking “Obama re-elected”. The rest of the voters won't be fooled by Barry's star power.

Wanna bet.

By this time next year:

Inflation will be rampant;

Unemployment will still be higher than in 2008;

The US standard of living will be lower than in 2008;

And Obama's "foreign policy" will be in shambles.

Any Republican candidate will only need to pick any economic statistic and compare Obama's best month with Bush's worst month and Obama will be clearly shown as an utter failure.

I tend to think the article has some truth in it. The American people are very sick, there are large numbers of illegals who will vote for him and he has a large black bloc in his corner. The Republicans at this time appear to have no really credible candidate. It does not look good.
