Maybe. There's also the fact that his name appeared in the RAT column. The voters obviously didnt know who this guy was but they sure knew what column he was in.
It would be hard to consider that he could possibly do worse than the current occupants of the office he is running for.
This was a primary, so there were other candidates were in the RAT column. Somebody suggested that his name came first, however, and Dem voters, being dumb as sticks, simply chose the first name they saw.
