This was a primary, so there were other candidates were in the RAT column. Somebody suggested that his name came first, however, and Dem voters, being dumb as sticks, simply chose the first name they saw.
Let's be truthful. This doesn't just apply to Dem Voters. It applies to everyone, and it isn't because we are all dumb as sticks.
Several hundred years of research has proven the following:
Being first on the list makes a difference.
Why do you think that Advertisers/Websites on the Internet PAY great amounts of money to be FIRST on the list returned from a Google Search?
I would suspect that the percentage of DEMS and REPUBS who prepare for every VOTE by looking up the candidates for each office and the text of each proposed referendum, is very small.
Most people, when voting, recognize very few of the names on the ballot other than the Top position (being first makes a difference), and some other controversial candidate/position which has made the news recently.
Their 'trend' then, is to pick the first choice that is of the same party they are.
It is a human thing. A societal trend. It does show that our society, in general, does some pretty 'ignorant' things, while claiming to be 'advanced'.
I would assume SC does the same thing. He would be the first listed in one District, the second in another and so on.
