A Giuliani fund-raiser will be held Jan. 29 in Pacific Palisades, Calif., at the home of Bill Simon, the 2002 Republican candidate for governor of California, costing $2,300 a person and $4,600 per couple.

February 1, 2007:
Texas Republican contributors are being solicited to spend $30,000 for dinner with former New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani at the Houstonian Hotel in Houston Feb. 1 to finance his presidential exploratory committee. The private dinner will follow a 6:30 to 8 p.m. cocktail reception, costing $2,100 a person and $4,200 for couples.
The best-known host of Giulianis Houston event is billionaire oilman T. Boone Pickens Jr., chairman of the private equity firm BP Capital Management. Also on Giulianis Texas fund-raising team are Tom Hicks, whose company owns the Texas Rangers baseball team; oil industry executive Jim Lee; and lawyer Patrick C. Oxford.
Well, I've saved my Rudy files to my flash drive since our computer is starting to crash. We'll have to get a new one tomorrow, although I think the one I want isn't in stock until Tuesday because of the new software Microsoft is putting out that day.
In the interim, I can sleep with a big smile on my face knowing that the faux conservatives who trash everyone are really hysterical over the fact that:
1) Reagan appointed Rudy his #3 man at DOJ
2) At the Ronald Reagan Library gift shop web site, the first page of books detail what are called "Ronald Reagan Books". The ADULT section (as opposed to the children's section which so many of these posters like to quote) is composed of a great many books.
All but 3 books are written about Reagan or presidential airplanes/ships. One book is Rudy's Leadership book.
The other two are books written by Reagan's son and John McCaslin.
3) And what really frosts their cookies is that Rudy received the Ronald Reagan Freedom Award.
That's what fanatic do, though - they keep getting louder and louder and shriller and shriller.
Btw, did you know that Rudy Giuliani has gay friends? :-)
So a liberal NYC gun grabber meets the bill for you? Wow.
I agree with you 100%. Every thread is the same.
Funny, that happened long before Reagan ran for office.
Whereas something similar happened to Rudy when he was the GOP front-runner to take on Hillary in 2000.
Well, it appears that the powers that be on this forum have allowed it to be hijacked by liberal gun-grabbing abortionists.
Reagan Presidential Library - May 4, 1992 President Reagan presents the REAGAN FREEDOM MEDAL to former Soviet General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev
You still have not addressed your own factual errors in that thread, but you somehow sell it here as vindication.
Did you know that Rudy is NOT a social conservative? Oh boy, the unappeaseables are going to be mad :-)
Here is some of what Rudy did.
Speaking of gay friends, I saw an article just today about Nancy's good friend Truman Capote who was gay. Gosh in today's climate, these people wouldn't have given Reagan a second look for Governor, let alone President.
It's primary season. Bare-knuckle time. As long as it's a fair fight, it's OK.
When people really do hate. Everyone can tell.
Yeah, the same folks you say can go pound sand.
Oh, not to mention the fact that I gave links to at least 2 web sites/articles which called the Ronald Reagan Medal of Freedom which Rudy was given by the WRONG NAME.
First, I'll start with two words. Bernie Kerik. We know what a great job Giuliani did at getting Bush to appoint his mobbed up, high school dropout, corrupt business partner Bernie Kerik to head the Department of Homeland Security. Giuliani earlier appointed Kerik to head the New York Police Department And we know now how that all worked out. Kerik narrowly avoided jail, but he was convicted anyway.
What award did Reagan give to Rudy?
HAAATE! HAAATE! HAAATE!
How do you feel you are doing so far in being a savior to this country?
Shocking!
