We all know Nurse Ratchet, otherwise known as Billy Jean "Hillary" Clinton wants to run for the DEMS in 2008 (assuming we can't knock her out of the Senate Daschle style in 2006.)
We also all know AlGore has been eating cheeseburgers George Forman style while watching documentaries on the 1960 Nixon/Kennedy race and Nixon's later rise from the dead to prepare his comeback in 2008.
The question is, who is being discussed to step up on our side?
Fred Thompson! I forgot about him....he'd handle a Hillary onslaught too...:)
That is true. However with a conservative House and senate nothing would ever be sent up to him along those lines and if he vetoed we might have enough seats by then to over-ride any veto. I'm just looking at Rudi from shear vote-getting ability. I'd rather deal with him in there than a Hillary!
Arnold probably would suffer from McCaiisitis anyway...:/
George Allen
Ticket for 2008: Jeb Bush/Rep. John Hostettler-IN
I'm from Texas, Rick Perry is no George W. Bush. I wouldn't count on him ever winning. You don't have to worry about Texas going for a Dem tho, the only blue part of this state is in Austin/University of Texas.
Governor Engler (Michigan) - B1 Bob Dornan
Guiliani, Pataki, Bill Owens are some good choices. I've also always liked Mark Racicot (sp?).
Guiliani is the best choice. Who knows, Cheney may retire due to health reasons in the next term and Guiliani named as VP. Nice thing is he wouldn't have to pardon anyone. I also agree that the Pro Abortion stance would be mitigated by congress. It would take a little fight out of the beast, too.
Condi would be fantastic but her inexperience would hurt her. Remember, the beast has been President before.
Tancredo - Coulter
Jeb - Watts
Bill Owens!!!!
Santorum - Musgrave
Dont Worry. W will pass a Constitutional ammendment which will allow him to run in 2008 and 2012 :)
I think we've had enough Bushes.
1988.
I think Tancredo would be good, with perhaps a governor or Guiliani to balance out the ticket at VP.
I am hoping for either
Jeb
Rudy
They are both very strong candidates. I like them both very much
I want someone who can think quickly and respond to tough questions in a heartbeat, kind of like Tony Blair, except he's not American....and he's a liberal.
I agree with J.C. Watts as a choice. How about Joe Scarborough? He comes across pretty good on TV.
Really? Drat. Oh well...scratch. list gets shorter. Thanks for the heads up!
Michigan! Go Buckeyes!
Chill...:) That's my bad Kerry imitation. LOL
I think you may be onto something there!
I like Dornan too, but do you think he'd be electable? He strikes me as appearing, Idon't know, what's the word...quirky?
Anyway, let's throw Engler on the list, eh?
