"Send me money and I will shut up."
To most attorneys there is no justice... there is Just Us!!!
This is why I am an ex-attorney!!!

From the other thread: what do you call 100 lawyers buried up to their necks in ice cream?

The letter was signed by George Washington University law professor John Banzhaf III, a leader in the obesity-lawsuit movement, and Michael F. Jacobson, executive director of the Center for Science in the Public Interest. John (I never found a lawsuit I didn't like)Banzhaf makes sleazy lawyers look like angels. He was the master mind behind the lawsuits against the tobacco industry and has been bragging all over the media how he plans on using the same tactics to bring down the food industry - he has already filed lawsuits against fast food chains.
As to the Center for Science in the Public Interest - they have never come across junk science they didn't love - and they have yet to find a food, except maybe berries, they didn't love to hate.
Pinheads.

Well you just answered my question ... it is extortion to fatten their pockets

Tonight, I'll have my usual snack: Two huge scoops of vanilla ice cream with one banana, chocolate syrup and whip cream. I've done this almost every night since I was 17 (I'm 59).
P.S. I still weigh the same as I did when I was 17 (100 lbs and 5"4"). What don't I eat or drink?? No soda, no chips except for occasional indulgence (twice a year).

A new ice cream shop opened in my neighborhood. A Madison Wisc. company. It's called Babes. They have a large sign in there that says; Don't look up here for nutrition information because all our ice cream is made of huge amounts of sugar and fat. It makes it taste good. If you want to be healthy, go eat carrots" Bwahahahaha!
Can you can get pictures of that sign in the shop, and post the pics here? :-)

Well I guess we can expect a 20/20, Nightline, 48 Hours in-depth investigation of why the ice cream industry has it out for the little (no pun) guy.

Liberal lawyers see a source of revenue by preaching a hate for corporate profits at any cost. I thought the other day -- they hate the Drug industry because of their huge corporate profits -- but when is the last time a Hollywood studio reported a loss? I'll bet if you start in 1940 and go to present day you'll see the BIG fat cats in hollywood have taken in BILLIONS and the industry has sky rocketed in profit making. Where is the equality? I don't like paying 7.50 for a movie. I cannot afford it and I'm always depressed an need entertainment. I want my ticket subsidized by the government!!!

I think if I ran one of these establishments, I'd write them back a letter stating that my ice cream was made of the same ingredients all ice cream had been made of for the last two centuries, and that any of my customers who hadn't familiarized themselves with the nutritional value thereof, were probably not paying attention. Then, I'd invite them to kiss my nether regions. The first company that knuckles under to this bullcrap will be used as a club against all the others. They need to stand tall and extend the finger of their choice.
