KASSEL - Prosecutors Thursday said they have filed a murder indictment against one of two gay men who met in an Internet chat room, where it allegedly was agreed that one of them would kill and devour the other.
And in a stunning new development, prosecutors in Kassel said they are broadening the investigation to include some 430 other persons believed to have been involved in the Internet gay cannibalism chat room that led to the death of a 42-year-old man in March 2001.
Prosecutors are convinced that the victim, a computer analyst from Berlin, agreed to be killed and eaten. His dismembered and partially devoured remains were found at the residence of a 41-year-old suspect.
That suspect, identified only as Armin M., has been charged with murder. Cannibalism per se is not a crime under German law.
Despite the fact that the victim willingly agreed to be killed, prosecutors said the case could not be considered "assisted suicide". So they opted for a murder indictment.
Prosecutors Thursday said the suspect has admitted videotaping himself killing the Berlin man, a computer chip developer at Siemens corporation, identified only as Bernd Juergen B.
On the morning of his disappearance from Berlin on March 9, 2001, Bernd Juergen B. completed his will. He left the bulk of his estate including a lavish penthouse apartment and EUR 50,000 worth of computer equipment to his live-in partner, a man named Rene.
According to police, the victim had several thousand dollars in cash and his passport when he travelled 300 kilometres from Berlin to the alleged murderer's house near Kassel.
Searching the rambling, 30-room, half-timbered house in the village of Rotenburg, investigators unearthed skeletal remains, some of them packaged in a freezer, along with videotapes and CD-ROMs on which the suspect allegedly recorded his actions.
Authorities were tipped off to the crime by internet surfers who stumbled upon chat room requests allegedly posted by the suspect in which he was looking for people willing to be slaughtered and eaten by him.
It is abundantly clear tpaine has no logical, rational reasons to support his flaky SCOTUS superlegislature-worshipping views other than the fact that he panics at the thought that his fellow citizens might be more persuasive in convincing their representatives to regulate and minimize the damage inflicted by twisted, morally bankrupt, self-obsessed, diseased, and grossly perverted leaches who live out their existences by partying hearty and passing on the costs of the party to the taxpayer.
They steal from the rest of us to support their lifestyles and tpaine is anxious that SCOTUS keep the rest of us from doing anything about their pro-dope, pro-porn, pro-sodomy addictions.
It's the gramscian socialism model being implemented with a vengeance. It's tpaine to the snivelling core.

You do realize this isn't representative of all homosexuals, don't you? I mean, just because some gays are cannibals, some are bug chasers (seeking HIV), percentagewise gays are more likely to molest children, gays can't reproduce so they have to recruit, etc, doesn't mean they're crazy or mentally ill. </sarcasm>

Libertarians call these free, self-willed and fully consensual individuals 'demented'? Isn't that like a moral judgement on your part? And if so, why should it all be any of your business? Should fully consenting adults have to get your permission first before they can eat whatever they want to? Are you going to police their every forkfull and monitor their every bite? Or is your statement about the harm they cause just so much bluster since libertarians think people should be free to go out and harm and murder each other if that's what they really want to do?

Anyone who publicly holds to a philosophy which makes consent into an absolute right should be pinged to this news story, and asked how such a horror would ever be stopped in his fantasy Me-ocracy. If he can't defend the indefensible, then the problem is not his philosophy but rather the stalking individual who dares to force him from his cocoon of self-imposed ignorance, and defrauds him of the surety of his True Beliefs. Perhaps the demented one is he who likes to gripe about how unfairly he is being treated all the time, when anyone can view on this thread how he himself treats others. Don't anyone dare say "Hey, tpaine!" to him, or else he might accuse you of calling him cattle fodder, and retaliate in kind. ;-) |
