Personally, I find the Charlie Chan series stupid. Having a white guy playing Chinese with heavy accent, how believable is that? Now, if they had a Chinese guy playing the Chinese role, that would be more palatable.

You fit right in with the protest group, but that doesn't give you or the goofy protesters the right to interfere with others who enjoy the films. All of you have the right not to watch! So don't.

They are stupid, and charming, and not very mysterious. But they are fun to watch. This is so thin skinned and stupid! I wonder if peta will have The Thin Man Mysteries" banished because Asta the wirehaired terrior is owned by the married sleuths. Or some such insane nonsense.

Asian activists strike me as a joke. Asians do very well and if segregated it appears it is so because of cultural wanting to be together rather than being dispersed. They certainly have the option to integrate. I believe their numbers in universities are disproportionately high compared to the population in general. Making their wild hoorays! for the SCOTUS decision for affirmative action seem unnecessarily silly and extremey myopic. The liberal war on class has worked very well.
