The only vivid memory of that day left in my mind was watching on TV after the initial explosion of people running for their lives as police and fire officials were screaming that there was another bomb and everyone should evacuate. The TV reporter (whose name I can't remember) was told by the anchor person to join in on the evacuation. Later there was someone shouting in the background, "We found it. We found it."

I don't know if it is still available anywhere, but I listened to a recording that was made at the time of the explosion fairly near the building, and you hear a woman beginning to give a presentation for a meeting of some kind and then you hear a series of explosions that sounds distinctly like a demolition. A series of explosions, boom, boom, boom, boom... something like that. I should have saved the recording!

Thanks very much for that information. I recall a seismograph report of multiple shocks, and several different theories trying to account for them.

I just happened to have the original post bookmarked, so it was simple to find... I know I have seen other, much older posts here, and I suspect they could be found by one patient enough to wade back through all the links in the OKC Bombing bump list. Whether this would produce anything substantive I can't say for certain, but it might be worth doing in light of the fresh attention being given to this old horror.

Don't waste your breath, JHK. This information has been developed by a trained news reporter and has been analyzed by experts. Instead, why don't you try to find the contradictions, if you see any, in Jayna Davis' accounts? Then, you might be taken seriously.
