Don't say that!
That is the pic that was sent to the Simon staff that a staffer then sent to me!!!
If that pic is doctored then the Simon camp has really (once again) stepped in serious dog doo doo.
I can't believe COPS and Simon would swear this was the Gov's office if the photo was doctored??!?!?!

Hmmm. Should be easy enough to identify the locale....
Otherwise, picture ping at #34...

Poorly-doctored photos. Won't help Simon.

If the photos aren't fake, I'll bet Davis is busy having his office and anteroom refurnished and repainted as we speak!

Reactions will be all over the board. I wish I could say more about it, but have promised the source to keep quite. This is the first I have said anything and I have known about it for some time.

Picture at #34. Is it real, or is it Memorex?

I understand. But if it is going to wait till right before the election, then it must be something bad about Dole. Dole leads and would have no reason to risk releasing anything. *Holding breath*

If the pictures matched exactly, I would say that someone just tried to fix the washed out background. But these are 2 different photos and I know enough about Photoshop to know that the one on top, at least, has been somehow altered. Could be real, but NO ONE will buy it once they get a close look at it. Sorry, I wish it were real.

Agreed, it looks faked. If it is, then somewhere there's a photo of the two identically posed against a different background. Look for it to surface pretty quickly.

Actually, if you save it and open in a photo editor, it looks real. Of course I have no idea about graphic arts so if someone who does would open it and give their professional opinion that would be nice.

OK - here are the pics - full size.
I am not good at graphic arts in design let alone interpretation. I have no idea how realisitic pics can be made to look.
So you all can judge for yourselves! I just can't think Simon would do something this dishonest...

These are doctored. In the background, you can see the camera flash reflection but on the liberal wankers jackets, there is no hint of a flash or anything...

I'm not certain they are faked. They do have a little 3d-effect to them (kind of like the people are floating in front of the background.
But I've looked at the edges and I can't tell they've been faked. I'm going to pull them into a photo-editor and try to zoom in on the edges and see if I can see some clutter.
To: Impeach98
Those can't be doctored. In the first enlarged one, if you look at their heads, you can see tiny hairs to the left and right coming out from their heads.
Same with the beard. There's no way that would look that way if one photo had been cut out and placed on top of another.
To: smith288
I don't see what you're saying. Where is the flash reflection? Should we also see it in his glasses and the windows to their left?

The colors just dont match. There is too much red in their faces to match the ambient light. And too much red to accurately reflect what would happen if they were hit with a flash.

"Monty Holden, head of the California Organization of Police and Sheriffs, told reporters the Jan. 31, 1998, photos show Davis, then campaigning for his first term as governor, accepting a $10,000 check from Al Angele, then executive director of COPs.The photos show Davis standing next to a man identified by COPS as Angele. They are holding either side of a $10,000 check as they stand in an office, that according to COPS, was the lieutenant governor's office.
The claims are ``false and possibly slanderous,'' Davis campaign press secretary Roger Salazar said. ``This charge is categorically false. No such exchange of campaign funds took place inside then Lt. Gov.'s Davis' Capitol office in Sacramento.''
Honest. I did not have money exchange with that man, Mr. Al Angele.......(check has a figerprint stain).....Indeed I did have an unappropreate relationship in the governors office..........

Notice on the very left side of his hair in your enlargement? There is considerable blur as well.
