Does anyone who did attend the debate have a report on how the candidates did? I'm rather curious there hasn't been any kind of thread on it.

"I've been doing the job I've been hired to do, working my way though 1,200 bills that must be acted upon,"That is just what California needs - 1,200 more laws.

"We're not engaging in a debate with Peter Camejo, regardless of the forum, " said Roger Salazar, a spokesman for Davis. "When you debate a third-party candidate, you are a third-party candidate."Maybe this will PO those independent types in CA, of which there are very many.
Of course, this is based on the assumption that Davis' "no show" at this debate is reported at all.

Earlier this week, Republican Bill Simon was in Beverly Hills for a debate sponsored by the Greenlining Institute and New California Media, an ethnic news media association. At least Simon kept his word and showed up.
