" Looking in the mirror and projecting?" LOL! See my post #15.

You are right on all counts. Of course, as long as corporations are getting cheap labor and the Rats are getting illegal votes, there is absolutely no incentive for either party to take a stand on this issue and the will of the people be damned.

This is the cry of every fool who blindly supports a politician who lack integrity and is betraying him.If you translate that statement, I'll respond to it.

They are disgusted with the Rs and Ds and with to bring our country more in line with the limey's who suffer from multiple party paralysis and can barely function.
---------------------------------------
There's no sense in suffering from multiple party paralysis when you can continue with single party and single doctrine paralysis as in our last presidential election where we had two half-wits offered to us.

For the life of me I do not understand why Republicans are afraid to be Republicans. Sometimes they are their own worst enemies.

The average clown who is a graduate of the established Republican leadership selection process is too intellectually debilitated to do anything.

Very good and thoughtful post, Mike, and you make some excellent points. And I will concede some encouragement by what I have been seeing lately. Not that much though. I think we are running out of patience, and while I understand that things have to be handled diplomatically to a degree, I think we also under the current circumstances need to have a sense of urgency about this problem.
Forget for a moment the Mexican illegals invading our country with every intent of reclaiming a significant portion of our land as their own and focus on the more immediate and ever present problem of people getting here whose only agenda is they want us dead, as many as possible by any means possible, and yet we are still letting people of those countries in in record numbers legally, and of course we now know that for the tidy sum of $10,000 they can (and do) get a coyote escort and blend with the Mexicans. Since 9/11 we have plenty to justify the tightening of the borders to whatever extent deemed necessary, yet it seems that nobody in Congress has any heart for it....or backbone. And I think that is the bottom line. There is a time for diplomacy and a time for security. It is a matter of priorities and our priority right now should be keeping Americans safe, and imposing a police state on the citizenry is not the answer.

Your use of derogatory language, constantly repeated regarding GWB is not winning you any points or advancing your arguement in any way, shape or form.
It is stupid and vain. It changes no mind or presents no arguement. It advances no conservative opinion or cause.
In short, It does nothing!

The problem here is a bit like radio transmission. It is not only necessary to have a functioning transmitter, the receiver must also be working.

Please revise that last statement to a more hionest one of saying it does nothing to please you. Having said that, let me say I was not put on this earth to please you or people like you. My allegiance is to my own perception and integrity, not to George Bush or his father..

It seems to get things done while at the same time preventing sudden turns and/or paralysis. A nice catch phrase we hear a lot. What has it gotten done for you exactly?

I would willingly trade some of our lazy citizens for some hard working immigrants. So would I, as long as those hard working immigrants came to the United States legally.

What has it gotten done for you exactly? Very telling admission! What has government done for me lately?
No concern for the welfare of posterity. No big picture view. It is all about me!
Fine! Be that way!

Then its up to us to bring up the Immigration Issue at every public political gathering and watch them stammer.Excellent idea!

I have no use for either George Jr. or his father. His father let the Reagan momentum slide into nothing and gave us Bubba. When you look in George Jr.'s eyes, there is nobody home. When you listen to his words there is no content with the exception of what he repeats from Clinton, Fox, or the globalists. When you look at his policies, they are destructive.

Currently, immigration is only a concern to states directly affected by it. Not even close to a majority.
This is why it is not a good political issue.
More must be done to educate the others.

Thanks for the post and I have ordered the video to show to our local chapter of Free Republic.

His father let the Reagan momentum slide into nothing and gave us Bubba.Actually, I am in somewhat of a agreement with you here. I recall making the statement, " What is wrong with President Bush! It appears that he does'nt want to win the election!"
I don't really know what happened to him. He did appear to give up near the end of the campaign.
