So why did Bush bash House Republicans in the previous campaign (using Democrapic rhetoric, no less)? Why did Reagan tell Republicans that the Brady Bill was a good law and that they should support it? I can do this tit for tat all night if you really want to do it.

I suppose Reagan supported the Brady Bill because Brady was shot protecting him and having been shot he might have thought it a good idea at the time. The nation was in shock at the attempt on his life and Mr. Brady was top news for months.

Why did Reagan tell Republicans that the Brady Bill was a good law and that they should support it? The Brady Bill!!!! That was way after Reagan's days. In fact, I would be surprised if he still was in sound health at that time. Do you have any proof of this? Never mind, I am sure you don't. But Reagan's days are over. As much as you try to deflect this, this debate is not about Reagan. It is about how pathetically liberal Bush is. You can badmouth Reagan all you want, but this kind of Democratic tactic would not elevate your man.
