Peter Camejo, a fluent Spanish speaker from New York who was born to Venezuelan parents, is running for governor under the Green Party. He is making a serious attempt to woo disgruntled Latino voters from the other two mainstream parties, especially the Democrats.
But Camejo's views on immigration certainly raise a few eyebrows. "We think that immigration is what made America great, especially the Mexicans," said Camejo, standing in the center of the banquet hall as it emptied in preparation for the Democratic dinner a few hours later. "This is a part of Mexico, this is territory taken from Mexico, and we're for amnesty for the people who are here."

La Reconquista is encorgaged in colleges and these MEChA (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicanos de Aztlan) chapters are funded by your tax dollars.
Professor Jose Angel Gutierrez, University of Texas. ----- "We have an aging white America. They are not making babies. They are dying. The explosion is in our population.
.. I love it. They are sh****ing in their pants with fear. I love it."

and it's a damn good thing; otherwise, the pobrecitos would be crashing the fences to get from what is now Texas, N.Mexico, Arizona and California, in order to get to all that prosperity in Oregon, Utah, Colorado and Oklahoma.Good parts of Oklahoma and Colorado were parts of Texas.

La Raza types aren't going to listen to the Pope about anything anyway. It's pretty significant that the Pope addressed his statement to Fox and it was quite clear that Fox's treatment of his citizens is a concern of the Pope's. Those people belong to Mexico, that government has no business sending them out and trying to make them someone else's problem.

I dunno, I fear aussie style gun control and failed socialism. Explain what you think Aus is doing properly :)
To: Arleigh
. More Hispanics live in Texas than people live in 38 of the 50 states.
Texas? Where is that? Do you mean Baja Oklahoma?

Like putting illegals in detention camps....we in the US seem to think that letting illegals go and just asking them to show up at 'deportation hearings' is the proper and humane thing to do. Problem is: they rarely show up...and Australia has addressed this problem. We haven't.

I dunno, I fear aussie style gun control and failed socialism. Explain what you think Aus is doing properly :) Australia will not be overrun run by Third World immigrants like the US. And eventually the US WILL be socialist as Third World immigrants gradually seize polirical power.

The way this communist state is going it would be small loss if we lost California to Mexico.

Is anyone on our side??? If polls are to be believed (and I believe them in this case) our side includes more than 70% of the country. Poll after poll shows that an overwhelming majority of the American People think immigration is too high and agree that our borders need to be secured. The trouble is that the 2 parties have no material disagreement on immigration and have a lock on who gets elected. Breaking that lock will IMO require some kind of revolution.

Lol! But please don't encourage them, they'll actually do it. Grover Norquist can take on the job when he's done helping Islamic terrorists colonize America.

Well, the Republicans seem to be very clever at picking wounded birds for candidates. Just when things look rosiest, out comes the birdshot. We shall see.
