It's what we get from allow scum like this off easy in other cases. I mentioned alcohol in the title because it appears it did play some role in the event. Otherwise, I cannot imagine myself how anyone can do this when clear headed...

Stop being a jerk. There is nothing funny about this. And alcohol is the root cause of this. Worst drug there is because it is legal and cheap. But outlawing it is no solution.

While I think you are trying to hijack this thread, and also though I doubt you really espouse the ideas you are sharing, I have to essentially agree with your sentiment. This is a monstrous crime but you don't see anyone blaming alcohol for it, like you would see if these monsters had been snorting coke or smoking grass.

However, I cringe when I see people on threads say "Well, heroin is the reason that guy cut those people's heads off." Anyone who says "such and such drug made that person kill or whatever" is minimizing the evil of the criminal in an attempt to advance their agenda - just as you have done, though I suspect your agenda is not the reenactment of alcohol prohibition.

Booze was not responsible for this crime - the evil of the perpertrators was. While I do not think you are foolish or a jerk as others have said, you should use more tact as you advance your agenda, whatever it is.
