Incredible. Bump for the truth finally being told!
I am troubled by the comment, " I work for the government, I can't talk about OKC." What the heck does that mean?

Thanks for the heads ups!

"Seffy [Bodansky] never told me anything about that," [McCollum] said. "This is all news to me." O.K. So, why was Bodansky a.) encouraging Davis and dropping hints all over Washington about ME involvement and b.) stonewalling the Committee Chairman.
Somebody's lying. Either McCollum was kept up to speed, or Bodansky was playing a game of...what?

On August 2, 1995, Federal Protective Services special agent Thomas Williams sent a memo to his branch chief, John Crowe, detailing his communication with terrorism task-force director Yossef Bodansky. I have to ask this question because I'm in the dark on it: Is Bodansky a good or bad guy?
My impression is that he is a fix-it agent; that is, he wants to steer the investigation clear of the obvious ME connections, all the while maintaining the confidence of those investigators (Jayna Davis, for one) he comes in contact with.
I get the impression from this article that Jayna Davis is trying to put the heat on Bodansky and possibly distance herself from him at the same time.
I'm tired and it's late, so I'll come back and visit this thread over the weekend again.
glorygirl, thanks for the excellent post. There are lots of nuggets in this one, like the Army memo.

...also interviewed Lana Padilla, Nichols' first wife. Isn't that the name of the 'dirty bomber' who was arrested fairly recently? Coincidence, common name, or ??

I am trying to compose an unofficial "ping list" for OKC stories. If you do not see your freeper name below, and would like to be added to my list, please freepmail me.
If, on the other hand, you would like to be removed, please freepmail me as well. Thanks. Perhaps we can get it posted in a semi-permanent place so others can make use of it as well! Remember, circulation counts, so email and freepmail away.

Ironic that this should be published in such a far left wing rag as the L.A. Weekly

There is soo much here.
I asked on another thread, what had congress ever done to prevent the murders of thousands of Americans?
I said for instance, what did they ever do with reports of "The Task Force On Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare"?
I know I am suffering from nfo overload,I am not able to construct a chain of intelligence re these reports.
The only ones I have seen are about three very new ones.
I can not find the Bodansky ones on Thomas.
If anyone can give me some urls, I will love you forever!
There is something not quite right about Bodansky never giving "his" reports to members.
Who the hell was he writing them for if not Congress?
I want to be able to read the reports prepared by Bodansky.
I want to see who in Congress was given them.
I want to see what any member did with that knowledge.
This chain of intelligence analsys will make or break my continual allegation that Congress aided and abetted the murders.
You can use "nicer " words like incompetence, corruption, cowardness, dereliction of duty ,yada, yada, but the end result is the same.

Glorygirl thanks for the ping.
Betty Jo asks, "what did they ever do with reports of "The Task Force On Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare"? Oh, I suppose that they filed them. Incompetent intelligence is the whole story of Sept 11. And the intelligence community has somehow escaped blame.

"Ironic that this should be published in such a far left wing rag as the L.A. Weekly." Well, I think that with some of these issues, it is only the far left and far right that will cover them. Because you have to be, already, some sort of "nut" to dare to question the accepted story. It was like that with the BCCI bank corruption story, and also the Iran/Contra affair. Both left and right wing sources called the official story into question, and were dismissed for a long time, before being shown to be correct.
