"Aren't you fortunate to get a time out for a week. LOL. Heck I remember once a few of us got a six month time out and it lasted a few days maybe a couple weeks or more for some. The girl can't help it."

At least I have the dignity to not disrespect you all the time, DEPORT.

"You crack me up. Every time I posted on the matter the point was that the President cannot "introduce" legislation, as the poster I was speaking to suggested. I said that repeatedly. I see that in one-- exactly one--spot I said "create"-- and it was part of an overall post. I never said "write." Leave it to you to deliberately miss my point to make one of your own. Leave it to you to write a complete volume when a few words will do. Now, let me state my point one more time for the record: The President of the United States cannot introduce legislation. Is that crystal clear? I respect the fact that you are intelligent. It's just that, at this point, you display so many other annoying qualities that detract."

Clara Lou, after all of my posts to you, you still cannot seem to understand why your erroneous post #148 is such a big deal, which surprises me. Here is what you stated:

"Ummmm, President Bush cannot "present a bill" to Congress or anyone else. He is the Chief Executive and cannot create a bill because that's the job of the legislature. Didja ever take a civics class?-- You know-- 3 branches of government, each with seperate powers because that's the way the founding fathers created the government in the Constitution. Here in Texas, kids study those facts in 7th grade."

By stating that a sitting President cannot create a bill because "that's the job of the legislature", do you realize the erroneous cold, hard facts that you are implying and stating in front of what you would say, "thousands of people"? You were stating that President Bush can no longer do anything about this horrific fetal stem cell research, because he "cannot create a bill", when in fact, he can--anyone may write a bill and present it to their legislators.

The fact is that there is still a lot that President Bush can do to improve this terrible situation for the unborn--he and his staff may still write a bill or propose a bill to any pro-life Congressman, and hence, they may introduce this bill in Congress. The only Constitutional limitation on President Bush's part, in regards to this situation, is that he could not introduce this bill in Congress.

By stating that President Bush can "not create a bill" you are greatly limiting the power and scope that he has in this imperative situation. This is why I made such a big deal over your statement.

Change cannot come by the means of apathetic or uninformed leaders, right?

"Looks like somebody has been copying and pasting right out of the Political Science 101 textbook, doesn't it? Book learning. *Sigh*"

"Do you think she's learned about plagiarism and acknowledging authors? Oh-- maybe they don't teach that until senior year."

Your impetuous debating skills speak volumnes for your person.

"Are you sure? I thought he just came out and stated what his position was and that was that... There was no bill in relation to limited lines as far as I know..."

Yeah, you knew he signed a bill, so did I, so does everyone else as a matter of fact.

We clearly have some people here who have decided to deliberately misunderstand this issue - so strong is their desire to demonize President Bush and label him an enemy of the unborn.

I hope they remember that God is watching - and He knows the hearts of all involved.

Your impetuous debating skills speak volumnes (sic) for your person.
im·pet·u·ous adj. 1)Characterized by sudden and forceful energy or emotion; impulsive and passionate. 2)Having or marked by violent force: impetuous, heaving waves.

Did you read that phrase in another book? Or did you just want to use "impetuous in a sentence? Either way, what a nonsensical remark.

It makes sense.

What about your time out Clara Lou? Decided not to take it?

Don't worry, I never take my time-outs either. Even ask DEPORT.

Really? I was not aware of this covert conspiracy. Could you please elaborate on their battle plan?

What part of my post do you disagree with, oh FreedominJesusChrist? That God knows your heart? That God knows President Bush's heart?

Your mocking tone says a lot about you and your friends.

I have NOT made ONE editorial COMMENT on the article which was PRINTED ON THE FRONT PAGE of the CHICAGO TRIBUNE.

Now that you HAVE promised to stop ATTACKING President Bush, I can SAY that PEOPLE were wrong TO call you a liar and idiot. Everyone should STOP namecalling. You will stick WITH President Bush NOW. He is ON our side. Thanks.
