It sounds like a great speech. Israel only has to respond when Palestinians act like human beings.

account12 is one of those people who comes itno a thread stirs up trouble and then you never see that person respond in that thread again. I have seen it time and time again. ignore them and they will eventually go away. Or at least register under a new name.

it point blank is an ultimatum..do it NOW or else
and or else is already cocked and locked

The Palestinian state he is describing will never happen; his 'vision' is a lie.
Perhaps Bush knows Arafat will never go quietly...I'd be inclined to agree with that. Nevertheless, there should be no state for terror.

I hope you're right!

He's naming names and laying down the line. More than anybody else I've seen.

Any statement that terror attacks must cease? I assume so, but I only got to hear a little bit of the speech.
To: Howlin
Sounds like a angry father talking to a couple of misbehaving kids.

So, did he not propose a "provisional Palestinian State" like all the "news" services have been predicting????
They said it so much, I am sure that's what most Americans think the President is saying today.
Is he proposing the Provisional Pali State or not???
If not - way to go "leakers" - you were wrong!
If the leaks were on purpose or not - good job, President Bush! Maybe you have found some of your leakers....or maybe the leakers did their job just as you wanted them to! Please report in full what was said. I will go to WhiteHouse website soon to read the speech also.
To: Thinkin' Gal
The State Department will fudge all the performance benchmarks as they always do. Once Bush declares his support under certain conditions, the conditions will never be upheld.

He says if they work HARD they can get this done in three years.
Now he is saying it will be a guide to ALL countries around the world in the same shape as Israel/PA.
