Read and weep folks. Mr. Baldwin tells it like it is. I know the anti dissenters at FR, will probably attempt to flame me but who cares. We have to be so ever vigilant in watching what the government does.

What is key here, notice how Mr. Baldwin mentions the CFR. Watch out because the CFR is not a good thing.

I read Ashcrofts response to the klintoon/gore version of a watered down Patriot Act after OKC, it was a well reasoned attack on the bill based on Constitutional grounds. I wish the man had kept his respect for our Constitution.
Even if most here trust these powers in the hands of a Republican adminstration that "safeguard" will not be in place forever.

Every "used to be" hero to the BushIdolators suddenly becomes a "commie lover" when they cross the line of pointing out facts about the new regime.

It has been unbelievable watching this forum deteriorate into a bunch of social democrat lapdogs for the state. We are giving the government the tools to squelch dissent, appropriate broadcast time for their own propaganda, and seize anyone whom ONE PERSON determines is an enemy combatant. And here's the really awful part: You can't even get a hearing to contest being labelled an enemy combatant! At the same time, we have a RINO who can't go two days without dreaming up ways to INCREASE our 2.3 TRILLION DOLLAR budget!

Unbe-****ing-lievable.

"If Clinton would have known that a Bush administration would be this successful in promoting his policies and programs, he would have supported Bush and not Gore in the 2000 election."

Of course Bush is successful in promoting Clinton policies. There are far fewer on the right willing to take on Bush than there would be willing to take on Clinton over the same policies. Remember the saying "Only Nixon could go to China". In some ways, Bush is even more a threat to the conservative cause that Clinton was.

His Justice Department has declared that U.S. citizens, whom it declares to be "Enemy Combatants," have no constitutional rights – none.

What puzzles me most about this is the timing. This concept of "enemy combatant" for a U.S. citizen wasn't formulated until Jose Padilla, the "dirty bomber" was arrested and promptly hidden away in a brig.

Meanwhile, Johnny Walker Jihad, a true enemy combatant, and a U.S. citizen, has an attorney and is getting a trial, as are two non-citizens, Moussaoui and Reid. All three of these have proven themselves dangerous creatures by acts, not intent. And yet Padilla is treated as a far worse villain.

I can't help but wonder what there is about Padilla that makes it mandatory that he be kept incommunicado forever. Could it be that he really is linked to the Oklahoma City bombing? The government's treatment of him defies logic in comparison to the other three, and opens the Justice Department to ridicule even by those who have no concerns about the Constitution.

Get used to it folks, if you're in the conservative wing of GW-Blueblood's voting block the message is you can kiss his arrogant ass. Your input is no longer needed or important but thanks for crawling across all that broken glass..... sucker.

"Rewards are necessary in order to make the soldiers see the advantage of beating the enemy; thus, when you capture spoils from the enemy, they must be used as rewards, so that all your men may have a keen desire to fight, each on his own account."

bush, clinton, bush, reagan, carter, ford, nixon, johnson, all the way back to wilson and then some, have been continuing to push the worlds people into world rule.

It's just more blantant since the CFR's members created the UN to aid their agenda.

They openly praise their god with pagan agendas.

On February 1, 1992 president george herbert walker bush stated:

"My vision of a New World Order forsees the UN with a revitalized peacekeeping function. It is the sacred principles enshrined in the UN charter to which we henceforth pledge our allegiance."

You know the UN charter that Alger Hiss (known Russian spy and CFR member) wrote.

Stalin said America would be taken down with a war of concessions, and that's what's happening. We are excusing ourselves right out of our country and dooming our children to a future of slavery.

"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But under the name of 'Liberalism', they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."

Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party Presidential candidate.

Well "We" do know how it's happening and who's doing it, but we are afraid to confront them.

I relate this to breeding. Like the serfs centuries ago, we choose to remain silent hoping we won't be touched. That somehow we will sneak by.

Well, they are going for the whole enchalada this time and everyone will be touched.

Hey, isn't there a ballgame on, we can deal with this later.

Someone will have to deal with it, are we going to leave it up to our children to fight our battles? Have we become that yellow?

James Paul Warburg (son of Paul Moritz Warburg, chief architect of the Federal Reserve Act), boasted confidently on February 17, 1950 before the U.S. Senate:

"We shall have World government, whether or not we like it. The only question is whether World government will be achieved by conquest or consent."

It looks to me like the American people have decided to consent to the overthrow of America.

Most animals will fight to protect their young, that's admirable. What we as American's are allowing to happen to our children is pathetic.

How can they defend themselves, against what they won't be allowed to know?

Chuck should stick to writing about stuff he knows, because he's out on a very fragile limb here.

First, there is nothing new about Clinton's announcement; in my own column from LAST YEAR see here I talked about the plan that Bush was implementing. Was it drafted under Clinton's administration? Yes. But it was compiled from a number of different sources, tapping the brilliance of many people. This wasn't something The Impeached Rapist came up with on his own, so Chuck should settle down.

Lest Chuck forget, some of the most DAMNING information on TIR came from the General Accounting Office and the Congressional Research Service of the US. Not every person who worked in Washington during TIR's term was gulping down the Clinton Kool-Aid.

Gee, we did a nuclear asssessment report every year, too. Does that mean TIR invented nuclear warfare? Gimme a friggin' break, already.

News flash, ladies and gents, the President already has the authority to launch nukes WITHOUT a formal declaration of war or Congressional approval. He's had it since long before Bush came to office. In the event of an emminent nuclear attack, he's not going to wait for the bombs to hit before retaliating. In some cases, the decision may not even be in his hands see here. The butt-wipes in TIR's regime didn't even know about this!

Moreover, Bush has access to intelligence information Mr. Baldwin could only dream about. If he knows a foreign country is preparing to launch nukes against US, what should he do? Sit back and wait for 20 million people to die first? Then Mr. Baldwin would be BITCHING that we didn't do anything about it, wouldn't he?

Finally, Mr. Baldwin needs to spend more time with the folks at the FBI ITT; foreign operatives ARE HERE; they have been here for years! They are latching onto pissed-off "pity me, I hate America" types and USING THEM AGAINST US.

Chuck is SPOT-ON about amensty, CFF, and other issues, but from what I can see, he's grossly uninformed about the rest.
