Get over it - even the most ardent Bush supporter acknowledges that they don't agree with him 100% of the time on 100% of the issues. But I'm not sure anyone who doesn't want to hear that will, in fact, hear that.....

I don' think Anne gets that Bush is saying that Arabs should not be singled out at airports: ALL should be inspected the same; thoroughly.

but then they would whine about their rights being taken away, so here we go...

if gore had done what bush is doing now, you would be hollering about it. period. i vote ideas, not people.

do you say he is doing this in a larger context?

then, this means that NOT fighting for your beliefs will transmit them. instead of presenting a cogent argument rationally, from the bully pulpit, bush grants these liberal pipe dreams and calls it a victory.

the thing to understand is: statism is statism. coke or pepsi.

p.s. if gore were to spend YOUR money (as taxes) on subsidizing down payments for housing for prospective minority home owners, after already providing housing loans for the same minorities, you would scream: This is socialized housing!!! and you would be right, paco.

Let me second that! I have posted that over and over again but some folks don't seem to want to hear that the vast majority of us do not agree with the WH 100% of the time but then that doesn't fit their agenda of bashing does it?

Amen to that.

To these folks, agree with Bush on anything and you're a 'Bush-bot' or whatever silly schoolyard name they come up with this week. He's doing a good job but he's not a true conservative (never was) and he's not a dictator who will make all the fringe-right fantasies come true, either, so they attack and whine and moan endlessly.

President Bush is doing a good job in difficult times and adverse conditions. Perfect? Of course not, but far better than the fringe types will ever admit. Ignore these folks because they'll never 'get it' nor do they ever want to.

To many people put President Bush up on a pedestal and forgot that he is human just like the they are, not some demi-god that would automatically make everything perfect.

It would be nice if we could find this type of person who could wave a wand and make everything perfect, but I seriously doubt that we'll ever see that happen. What we need to do is get with the program and work together on keeping conservatives in office and liberals out instead of bickering among ourselves all the time. It isn't productive and leads no where!

But every time you disagree with George W. Bush you are giving 37 votes to Hillary Clinton, or something like that. I know it's true, because I read it on FR every day. Are you seriously suggesting that the President of the United States might be less than 100% correct on 100% of the issues? Who are you with anyway, US or the terrorists?
