Conservative lawmakers and activists disappointed with President Bush's first 18 months in office are calling into question his tactics and strategy in advancing the conservative agenda.
"The president for the most part has been our guy," said House Majority Leader Dick Armey, Texas Republican and a prominent conservative on Capitol Hill. "A few times we disagree."

We end up with a Democrat....which some would
say is exactly what happened, anyway.
...long enough no matter what the GOP does.
No matter what?????????? You think the GOP
is breaking its ass to keep conservative voters?
So what will you be doing, MAP?
Sitting out and being a quitter, or voting for a Democrat and being a traitor? Which one?
I got a dog in this fight. The guy I voted for thinks he can safely ignore me, my family, and my principles and not suffer for it come election time. He might be right... but then again, he might not.
At this time, the figure of 4 million conservative voters sitting 2000 out is in dispute.
We've debunked that one. Unless you have the backup data, you are going to look foolish if you keep using it.
Not quite. Not yet, anyways. Logic states that it is a fallacy to state that since something has not been proven true, it is therefore false (argumentum ad ignorantiam). It is incumbent upon Poohbah, who is the originator of this premise, to back his premise up with some substantial documentation.
You really don't see the corelation between this and supporting a liberal social agenda in order to defeat a liberal social agenda?
I did. My wife did. We worked the local GOTV effort. It was quite an emotional scene at my house on inauguration day. AFAIC now, he's a social(ist) liberal and he played a confidence game on me. Fool me once...
I did. Any more brilliant comments?
I don't believe he'll find any. It's a "factoid." Unless somebody else out there can do a Lexus/Nexus search or produce a GOP press release where some kind of credible poll data can be cited... then I will believe that that "white Christian conservative's aren't in our corner any more" crack was a sop to the minorities that the GOP has been salivating over since the Bush win. As you pointed out, Rove didn't finger conservatives in general, he fingered white Christians. It's de rigeur for liberals to finger white Christians these days. Shame on the republicans for jumping on that bandwagon.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
and so forth...
1. Downpayments for low income blacks and hispanics, no whites or asians need apply.
2. Giving property sellers a 25% cut on their capital gains tax for selling to the government instead of other potential buyers. How do you like the thought of being shoved into cities, easy to contain and control, as farm land and ranches are bought up by Uncle Sham? How are your kids going to like having to explain why they are out having a picnic in the country, because they stick out like a sore tumb in a landscape almost barren of human beings? Don't even try to tell me the potential is not there for extreme abuse and control of our food supply.
3. Returning immigrants to the back of tax payers, instead of forcing their sponsers to fund them.
Wake the heck up man.
Damnation, Harrison. Give the man a CHANCE to find his supporting data! ;^)
They BROKE their asses in 1995 and 1998, and got the middle digit, upraised and extended.
Y'all cost too much to maintain. If you can't deliver votes, the GOP will find those who WILL.
