[history]
President Bush is the leading obstacle to controlling illegal immigration in this country and his "open door" border policy is a threat to national security, the Republican chairman of the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus said yesterday.
Rep. Tom Tancredo told editors and reporters in a luncheon meeting at The Washington Times that Mr. Bush is out of step with the majority of Americans who want immigration reform and that his "altruistic views" on the subject were an open invitation to new terrorist attacks.

Everyone - Anybody who cares about the future of this country; anyone who is opposed to present Mass-Immigration policies of the U.S. Gov't - anyone who is opposed to massive illegal immigration - now is the time to stop whining and do something positive. The only Congressman who has had the balls and courage to openly take on the Mass-Immigration cheerleaders in the Big Business Community, in the White House and in Congress is Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colorado. Mr. Tancredo openly disagreed with George W. Bush's open-borders policy in The Washington Post this past Friday. He has introduced several pieces of legislation which, if made into law, would a) reduce legal immigration levels b) roll-back the numbers of foreign worker visas (H-1B), etc. In a nutshell, Tancredo is OUR man. In sticking up for us, the working people of America, Tom Tancredo has irritated that body that is oxymoronically referred to as "Republican Leadership". As a result he is unlikely to get any support from his own party during his re-election effort. Therefore, I urge everyone who is interested in cleaning up our present immigration disaster, striking down the H-1B visa monster, and taking concrete steps to reduce illegal immigration, please take a tangible step and send a campaign contribution to Tom Tancredo for Congress Committee, Inc. P.O. Box 3756 Littleton, CO 80161 (720)-482-9040 You can contribute up to $1,000 but any amount will help: $5, $10, $20 You need to include the following information with your contribution: Name, Mailing Address, Occupation, Employer. Put your money where your mouth is, folks - even ten bucks will help. Cheers, Jerry
