As time goes on, this statement from Buchanan keeps entering my thoughts. "The differences between the two beltway parties are inconsequential". Once you get this realization, the rest of the pieces of truth that start to fit into the puzzle get pretty ugly.

I can live with gays being hired in government, obviously, but not gay activists who want gay marriage, adoption, promotion in the schools, boy scouts, etcThe homosexual activists have been very clear and very focused on their agenda. They said from the start they would infiltrate all levels of society and every institution, and they would win. They've infiltrated the Church (and that's a big mess they caused there) and they've infiltrated both parties and all levels of government.

If the strategy to remove issues" from the opposition by embracing and advancing their agenda is successful than I'd do better next election voting for the opposition so they too can employ the new and most brilliant strategy of removing opposition party issues and thereby getting conservative values in place.
Here's a short list-
Signing off on increasing unemployment another 13 weeks, signing off on federal employees for airline security, signing off on CFR, signing off on the education bill while giving up on vouchers, signing off on the immigration policy, and now Bush has appointed four homosexual activists to mid-level spots in his administration...!
Whats next is he going to make Janet Reno a Federal judge?
At least Gore being Gore would not have moved so quickly on so many wonderfull Democratic Party "issues"
What is going on????????

He's "Electable" in Oct. '99 -----
Log Cabin Republicans say they want place in White House for their support
"WASHINGTON - Gov. George W. Bush has named openly homosexual gay-rights advocates to his campaign steering committees, though Christian conservatives say he recently promised that, if elected, he would not appoint such individuals to government positions.
The seeming conflict has irked not only gay Republicans, who back Mr. Bush and expect his openness to extend into the White House, but also Christian conservatives, who oppose homosexuality and are warily taking measure of the governor." ---
Looks like they weren't "Wary" enough.
