Do you think he's gay? He did have Trent Lott over to the ranch is that funny hat with the feather. If he is, he seems to try to cover it up pretty good with the rugged cowboy look and tough talk. Maybe he just appears to be real lovey dovey with Laura to deflect any talk about his real preference.

As time goes on, this statement from Buchanan keeps entering my thoughts. "The differences between the two beltway parties are inconsequential".

I don't know about inconvenient. I just don't like dishonesty.

I would hardly consider the Log Cabin Republicans to be a radical or even an activist group. Perhaps they consider behavior modification to be the best way to cure AIDs. I'd rather we deal with the responsible conservative homosexual groups now, rather than have to deal with the radical hate-mongering homosexuals later.

"Nor shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be destroyed like it. You shall utterly detest it and utterly abhor it, for it is an accursed thing."
Deuteronomy 7:26Don't bring up the 'throwing the first stone' canard. That's out of context and won't apply here.

No names.
Bush said that he would appoint the best people for the jobs.
The best people don't gravitate toward government jobs, as we all know.

I don't know if you're joking or belittling, but this is an issue that matters to a lot of people. We don't need Bush appointing a bunch of gay activists. Sex should not be a topic, period. The fact that he is appointing gay activists very much makes it an issue. Keep their sex lives to themselves.
To: Moonman62
Just because LCR's are fiscally conservative doesn't mean they are not gay activists. They are. The Catholic Church made excuses for hiring gay priests and look where they are today. I think it does matter. I can live with gays being hired in government, obviously, but not gay activists who want gay marriage, adoption, promotion in the schools, boy scouts, etc...
To: RAT Patrol
There was a memo sent out within the LCR some years back warning them not to show up in diapers or other "fun" attire at gay pride parades and other functions.

Perhaps I should excerpt more than discussion notes from the tape I was listening to Friday: Dr. E. Michael Jones's talk on "The Homosexual as the State's Ideal Citizen".
Thanks for the links.
