Millions of people wake up to Howard Stern each morning. But who does Howard wake up to?
It's a well-established fact that women don't listen to their boyfriends. Whether misinterpreting "You look lovely, honey" as "You have a huge ass," or tuning out sports static, beer talk and ancient workplace anecdotes, ladies do not always receive a man's opinions with perfect clarity. But when Pittsburgh-born beauty and Click lingerie model Beth Ostrosky says she doesn't listen to her boyfriend, she means something else. She means that unlike most of the nation, she doesn't tune into the Howard Stern Show every morning. "I don't listen to Howard. I never did," she says, sipping her coffee in a cafe on Manhattan's Upper West Side. It was a conscious decision. Beth had never listened to the show before she met her flatulent mega-star boyfriend, and she didn't start listening afterward. "I don't want to get confused," she admits. "I know him as how he was when I met him, and from what I hear, he's just so, so different on his show. His schtick on the air is very different from the way he really is. So I don't listen."
Her indifference to his daily performance doesn't stop Stern from dropping in at the FHM shoot in Brooklyn to check out how her day is going. "I think he was nervous being down there too," she says. "It's the first time he's ever seen me 'work.' I've always said I wanted him to come watch, but it was just not appropriate. It would have been OK if he was any other person, but we never did it because we knew if Howard was there, there would be a ruckus."
On the set of the shoot, however, all eyes are on Beth as she wanders around the studio in a bra, panties and six-inch heels with the confidence of someone fully dressed, and the King of All Media is just another open-mouthed spectator.
Have you always been happy to get naked in public?
Well, I'm 29 and I've been modeling since I was 9, so over the years, I've just gotten really comfortable putting clothes on in front of other people. I don't even think about what I have on anymore. Most of my jobs are for lingerie and bathing suit clients, so I am very, very comfortable with that. It's funny, I am really insecure with my body, but once I put clothes on to work, something changes and I automatically become really confident. I've also done loads of fashion shows and everybody backstage is naked, so I'm used to being naked in front of other people.
You're wearing some pretty sexy things. Is your closet at home full of similar items?
It is now! I never used to be a big lingerie fan, but with this relationship, I've started to experiment with lingerie and I'm having fun with it. I was never into it-I just thought it was something I had to wear when I went to work-until now. I really love it. I find things for special occasions and will dress up. I like to look sexy for Howard, and I like having little surprises and dressing up in frilly things for him. I feel sexy when I do it.
What's your favorite item of clothing?
I've started getting into shoes now that I don't have to wear flats. Most of the guys I've been out with have been short, but Howard is 6-foot-5. I wear really high heels now. He loves how tall I am. I think that is his favorite thing about me physically.
How did you meet him?
A girl I was working with invited me to a dinner she was having. I barely knew this girl, but I went because I wasn't dating anyone and I was actually miserable. It was a sad time in my life. Howard showed up with his friend Ralph; I knew who he was, but I didn't know a lot about him. We started talking and we haven't been apart since; that was almost two years ago. We kind of clicked right away, and the next morning, he called me and I went over and watched movies all day and it just blossomed into the most amazing thing in my life.
Did you have a fixed preconception of what Howard Stern would be like when you first met him?
Absolutely, everybody does. I think I was afraid of him. I thought, "Howard Stern: It's not my thing." I know the stigma attached to him, and that's not my type of person. Then, five minutes after meeting him, I knew what an amazing comedian and a brilliant actor he is. He wasn't loud and obnoxious. He was very quiet, and I ended up going and talking to him, and he was just the most beautiful, gentle, sweet man I've ever talked to. It was a surprise, and the more I talked to him, the more I just wanted him to never leave. He is the perfect man, I'm telling you.

Same thing happens to me every day. |
She HAS to be blonde!!(no intentional offense meant to all blondes, just this one) Brilliant actor? The QB that does the Chunky Soup commercials is a better actor.
Inputs? I don't the Stern show where I am, so I don't understand. Explain? If you can't figure it out, you don't want to know....LOL

She's blonde..(yup, so am I)
She never really heard of him before?
Jesus H. Christ woman, there is blonde and there is blonde!!!! I LIVE half a world away in Ireland, and not only do I know who Howard Stern is...I watched a Goddamn movie about him.
I'm not sayin' what she says isn't true. I'm sure, he's a nice, quite guy and all. He's just married to a dumb bitch.
Okay, was it cold under that rock dear? Howard got separated and never told exactly why, but said that his marriage had been falling apart for a while. His ex-wife moved on and married a billionaire (a bit of a sore subject for Howard) and he moved on to an airhead without two dimes to rub together. But hey, she's stick thin and bleached blonde, and has had rhinoplasty, what does he care? And, most likely, implants. Which is what he's always wanted. She can't discuss Shakespeare...but...hey...Howard's happy.
Oh I know. I was just tryin' to be sarcastic. (Us Irish people take ten million words to try make a point ye know *LOL*)
Obligatory pic.
Obligatory ping.
It's uplifting (uh, poor word choice) to hear that a nice down-to-earth girl like her can find a sweet guy like Howard.
