My 'litmus test', when is come right down to election day and marking the ballot, is the '2nd Amendment'... Will you settle for the small portion that's still left right now?

After a great deal of thought, I'm going to suggest people on this board start thinking of themselves as "Constitutional Republicans", not conservatives or libertarians. The reason this is important is that as much as libertarians have their problems, conservatives have an even larger problem - they are essentially democrats who are happy with gaining power through elective democratic processes. That's Bush's (conservative) problem right now on immigration, CFR, tarrifs, and everything else, he is happy to win issues by cutting corners for votes and throwing away the Constitution. Not a spit worth of difference with Democrats at that point.
