Now That Bush Has Sold Us Out... What are we going to do about it? (vanity)
Posted on 03/13/2002 2:47:41 PM PST by Michael2001
Well I'm mad and I'm angry, and maybe that's why I can't think of an appropriate response. While all of us were prasing him for how he was dealing with the war on terror, Bush passes this Amnesty Bill, something that not even the sneaky Bill Clinton would do. This is one of the worse Bills to pass through Congress, it will hurt us in many ways, and ten years from now we will still be feeling it's effects.
Bush has, without a doubt in my mind, sold us out for the Hispanic vote. He sold us out because he can take our vote for granted (who will we vote for Al Gore?). Is he wrong? What do we do when the Republicans stop looking out for our interests? Is it time for a new party, or do we work within the party and try to root out the Republicans In Name Only (of which there are many)?

Have you ever laughed so hard it hurts, we went out front, trying to get away from the people here that were going hysterical over this, hehhe he. Whats the name for this again, not amnesty right?, he he he..

Overstaying a Visa is being here illegally, they can return home and reapply. They had no right to assume that they automatically would get as many Visas as they felt like having, being here on a Visa allows you a set amount of time and they should have lived up to the agreement. I can accept this amnesty if it's exactly as you say and amounts to a few thousand people who may be in that situation ----but I heard the lies told last time about the amnesty ---how it would be for a few hundred thousand and it turned into more than 3 million ---at least 2 million immediately came over just to get in on it.

Now that is Orwellian Double Speak! Good job! You are now eligible for GOP prizes such as riding upon ignorant elephants in a three ring circus! Congratulations! There you go. All you know to do is offer insults. You offer all bone, and no meat.
This bill is for those who have expired VISAs. By definition, this means that they entered the country legally.

Think of it as a serape amnesty.hehehehe . . .that's pretty good.
It really isn't serape amnesty, but it's still funny.

WHAT ARE THEY CALLING IT NOW! LOL! "They" never called it an "amnesty bill."
YOU called it an amnesty bill.
You've been jerking your knee so much in the last 24 hours that you've turned into...well...a jerk.

I took the time to make real discussion with you, and you've chosen to act like a democrat. Speaking of democrats, why did a near-majority of them support a bill that so many conservatives seem to be quite comfortable with? Strikes me as a bit of an oxymoron.

I think we're in the minority. Have you ever seen such nice things written about Clinton & Gore in this forum before?

Overstaying a Visa is being here illegally, they can return home and reapply. Certainly, this is true. But the real issue is that it was our very own governemnt's lack of action in this arena that caused the whole problem.
It is time for reform, but cut these folks some slack. They came here legally.

I love it when you mentally masturbate in public. It reflects your stealth and character. It allows all to see you naked. I probably shouldn't say anything, but suffice to say that now I've seen you both naked. Of course, I regularly act like a jerk, so it takes one to know one.
Buckeroo, if you're still awake, I'm in your camp tonight thus far, as I think that this unlimited invasion of immigrants must have a limit. It's high time to limit immigration strictly to families, but only of those not from "terrorist-supporting" countries.

Would he [Paul]vote for a bill that put our country at risk? Most definitely. Not this bill though, which is a break of wind in a windstorm.Cheers.

I think you suck the South end of an elephant, with it's tail resting upon your head. That's a terrible thing to imagine but you sound like you are good at it. You suck the small end of a bottle, Buck, and it's pretty well empty by this time of night.
And it's not a pretty sight.

BS. It is for every immigrant that can substantiate their residency in America, that have not received prior acceptance upon appl;ication. No earlier application need be substantiated. All that is required is few supporting "facts" real or contrived. About 5M illegals may be accepted based upon this.

Whats the name for this again It is the "drive the nuts" crazy bill. But that is redundant.
To: who knows what evil?
123 Republicans voted against it. 92 voted in favor.

Have you read the bill? Anybody that wants to apply for "amnesty" meaning a green card and legal status, must have already applied for the family relationship status prior to
AUGUST 2001 This is a bill to allow those that had legal status and by the terrific (insert sarcasm), work of the INS have lost their legal status because the paperwork hasn't been processed in a timely manner. It is not a bill to open the borders and allow anybody that wishes it legal status or citizenship.
READ THE BILL!!!
