My initial reaction is to vote for a third party candidate and hope if he gets enough votes, and it causes the Republicans to lose the presidency it will send them a message.
To: Michael2001
Well, that will certainly improve things.

In the last election, many people at my Church refused to vote, saying that Bush would not look out for us. Not voting at all, doesn't help us much either.
To: Jim Robinson
Yeah, works for me, too, boss.

Bush passed an amnesty bill? Wow. When did they ammend the Constitution?

Did you read 245i and the underlying law?
Because if you didn't the one issue line to throw Bush from the train starts way over there.

Little bit afraid of Hispanics are ya?
To: Jim Robinson
Probably not. But what will? The Republican Party is becoming indistinguishable from the Democratic Party. Do we keep just voting for the "R's" each time because that's what we've always done, and what our parents have always done? At what point do we stop supporting these people?
To: go star go
Yes that's it. I hate hispanics (sarcasm)

Whine whine whine
To: Michael2001
You can do that---"send a message" and curse us with 4 years of Algore---but you will be banned from complaining about ANYTHING he does. Can you deal with that?
To: Michael2001
Well, you can always send some money to and vote for Al and Hillary.

Throwing out the race card doesn't work here. However, at Democratsunderground.com might be a better site to throw that out at.
To: Michael2001
Bush passes this Amnesty Bill, something that not even the sneaky Bill Clinton would do.Perhaps the sneaky Bill Clinton wouldn't do it, but Ronald Reagan did the exact same thing during his presidency.
To: Michael2001
My 'litmus test', when is come right down to election day and marking the ballot, is the '2nd Amendment'...
With that intact...everything else, shall I say, is 'negotiable'! :)

They didn't. They ammended the rule that was extracted from the procedure that was a revised version of an executive order given in a time of "National Emergency". See, simple, just make it too complicated for anyone to proove unconstitutional and viola, Law on the books regardless of silly constitutionality factors.

So what's the problem then? If you have no problem with Hispanics that where is the problem?
