Rumsfield Says Nuke Leak Violated Law!!
FoxNews

Posted on 03/13/2002 8:16:11 AM PST by Naspino

Rumsfield just said that the leak to the LA Times violated the law and that leaks in Washington was a disease. My only thought is YES YES YES! The leaker needs to be tried for treason. We cannot improve our image among other peoples if we are constantly back-stabbed by our own senators and media.

Just great, that's 99% of the Dems in California's Congressial Delegation, and even then it might be some OTHER Dem who leaked it, which means we are still talking 85% of the Dems in Congress!

To thier best recollection, they don't recall giving that information to anyone in the news media........

Well, with the volumnous amount they do leak, how can they keep track?

Not on your life. The climate now in our federal government is that "anything goes" and that congress critters and other beauracrats have immunity from prosecution for life. It sucks big time but we elect them and we allow them to get away with it.

"My guess is that this is a person who was privy to the report and has connections to Mr. Arkin, the originator of
the article for the LA Times and most likely has an anti-nuke history,
if not anti-intelligence, anti-defense, and anti-American."

Well, that pretty much means every democrat in Congress, doesn't it? And a few RINO's, I might add.

Hope that Bush does not cave in and allows those that leaked be punished.

Fat chance.

For every mother with a son in the military,

For every wife with a husband in the military,

For every child with a daddy in the military,

For all those praying that their son/husband/father comes home safely,

And for all those whose son/husband/father will NOT come home safely,

I hope the bleeping leakers pay. Big time.

I guess is that the congressional leaker is from California.

Sounds like it'd be a member of the Intelligence committee.

Assuming a California leaker, the possibilities would be:

House
Gary Condit (D)
Jerry Lewis (R)
Nancy Pelosi (D)(House whip)

Senate
Diane Feinstein (D)

If it's a leak, it'd be intended to be a means to give traction to the Democrats. That removes Condit and Lewis, leaving Feinstein and Pelosi.

Personally, I'm guessing Feinstein, as this has a Daschle-like smell to it.

Only idiots would consider using nukes against someone who uses a WMD against us? "

Get real, the idiots who put this together were advocating first strike. Rummy would not be upset if this was about using nukes in defense.

When we got the best conventional forces in the world, it takes an idiot to encourage the development of nukes by the rest of the world.

Senators Leahy and Daschle, you stand accused. How do you plead?

Early in the WOT, Leaky Leahy and Orrin Hatch were the culprints for leaking classified info. Likely culprits this time?

Or was this more purposeful, done by perhaps, Daschle himself? He was working so hard at discrediting Pres. Bush on the War, and told by other Dims to back off, maybe this was his last-ditch effort.

There are elaborate traps of disinformation available to find out who the leakers are.

I watched some of Politically Incorrect last night and they all thought that the leaker was a senator from California. This needs to go hand-in-hand with a threat to freeze the assets of any news outlet that publishes secret information.

Put it on the reporters to ensure what they get is allowable to publish.

Remember this leak went from a report to outrage from leftists and blatant misreporting from them and leftist England papers. Last night on the show (PI) -- two leftists were condemning BUSH (of all people) for antagonizing these countries. No one seems interested in the facts from the left.
