At the INS, it is a solid argument to demand more money and more power. I think you're on to something there. Not that I'm a conspiracy theorist, but what would you want to bet that someone at INS said "Hey - here's a way we can make a good plea for more money - let's send these out...."
The timing is too perfect.

This is more frightening than nuclear bomb threats. At least those threats are from the enemy, these are from within...............g-d help us.

They know, they could care less, they have an agenda, and it isn't an American agenda. Now the INS not only starts out being a worthless organization, they get the added burden of 65 million green cards to issue.

response letter arrived, at the wrong address, about a month ago. I've worked with the DOE and the NRC here in Oak Ridge, and I know for a fact that they never make a mistake. It's obvious to me that between the time you sent the application to the NRC and the time they mailed it back to you, you moved the facility. There can be no other explanation.

No doubt they will be asking for more money as the answer to this disgusting horrifying lapse.

"...a solid argument to demand more money and more power."
POST OF THE DAY! It's only too, too true.

Of course. Government work is the only work in the world where total abject failure is rewarded with a pay increase.

FR has 60,000 FReepers registered and every one of them should be inundating their Representatives offices with phone calls and E-Mails to quash this Immigration Extension that they want to slip through tonight!
We FReepers are here because we love our Country and our freedoms, but it seems that very few of us put forth the extra effort when these things we hold dear are threatened.
If FReepers won't take the initiative, who will?

Now the INS not only starts out being a worthless organization Let's disband the INS with these folks.
We need their talents to paw through soiled baggage at our airports.

I feel exactly as you, OldFriend.

Is there
anything that needs to be said about our Federal government after reading this? I think not. It makes the case in stronger fashion than any of us could with a mile-long essay. Incredible.

What do you want to bet there will be a huge outcry to pour more of our money into this agency? And what do you want to bet people will agree even knowing how badly they've done with the money we've already provided?
Increasing the budget of the INS is simply putting good money after bad.

Close the borders...round up the illegals...ship 'em out....shut down INS. Simple, huh?

Kate did you sign up with Vallingdingham? Make sure you do!

It seems that a lot of normaly level headed FReepers have been blinded by a certain president. I fought as hard to get him elected as most on this board, but I'm not blinded by devotion, unlike many on this board. Whats really funny, is many of these same people had nothing but despite for the Clinton Kneepadders, but they have fallen victim to the same emotions themselves. Sad.

ACS is also the company that manages the traffic cameras in D.C. that fine people for speeding and running red lights.
