Oakland -- The students at Park Day School in Oakland are probably the only elementary school kids in America whose spelling lists contain words such as "homosexual," "lesbian" and "transgender."
At a time when high schools around the country are battling over bringing gay studies and gay student clubs to campus, the private Park Day School is skipping the controversy and being straight with little kids about gay life.

"Last year it was the disabled. This year it was the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender group" Next year it will be NAMBLA!

Disgusting.
And in the public schools were they have "counselors" for "questioning" kids, i'm certain they encourage them to nurture and explore their homosexual feelings. Kind of like how PLanned Prenthood says they offer "options" but end up recommending abortion %90+ of the time.

That may be because Park Day School was founded in 1976 by progressive parents who wanted their students to study social justice and diversity. Every year, the school hosts Care Week to study a disenfranchised segment of society. Wonder if it's the kind of school John Walker Lindh attended? I still don't think little bitty kids should be worrying about this stuff. Maybe that's because I was in high school before I knew such a thing as a homosexual even existed. And what spinoff of the Baptist church has lesbian ministers?

Michelangelo was a homosexualHe must not have had a lot of pride like todays buggers.
Look at his masterpiece "David"
If ole Mick was a bugger, he sure left "David" a little short in the "hung" department.

The youngest children had few questions about homosexuality, preferring instead to talk about the puppies or chocolate bars involved in the speakers' jobs. Innocence? Stamp it out!

"The idea," said Park Day Director Tom Little, "is that if they ever encounter homophobia, their association will be that lots and lots of wonderful people they have met have been hurt by that." I guess no one bothered to teach these poor kids the definition of "homophobia". I've heard two different definitions. 1) fear of becoming a homo, and 2) fear of association with homos (like getting hit on). Neither of these has anything to do with a persons right to disagree AND condemn the homosexual lifestyle. And that includes taunting. Yes, everyone has the right to shout epithats at the parading homo community. Its called freedom of expression/speach. So if they want to march around trying spread their agenda, everyone has a right to denounce it. Nuff said....

Teaching the realities of gay life? It seems they was talking the fuzzy feel good illusions of gay life. They were enjoying discussion the "victimhood" of gay/transgender life.
Where are they dicussion the aids epidemic reality of gay life? The std reality of gay life? The transient partner reality of gay/transgender life? The drug abuse percentage of homosexuals reality of gay life? The daily sexual obsession of gay life? The (oh so glorious) one moment stands in bathroom, cars and parks relationships of gay life?
I don't want my children or myself dragged through the muck of the degraded gay/transgender lifestyle. Gay allies? Count me out.
