Lots of monstrous dictators are exceptionally bright. If this is all Sorkin has to stand on, his argument falls completely apart. I got 1450 on my SAT (beating Gore on both scores, I might add), but fully acknowledge that Bush is 100 times the president I could ever be. It's not all about brains. And I'm thankful that's the case. Would you want Rain Man running the country because he can multiply 20-digit numbers? OK, OK, he's a savant. Clinton is probably the penultimate example of brains meaning jack squat vis a vis the presidency.

Good article. What I don't understand is why the author neglected to print the particulars of Bush's educational history. He never flunked out of divinity school and law school, that's for sure.
