Well, at least the billboard owner is making some money.

Don't assign blame to the guilty, but instead assign shame to the innocent. It's easier than approaching the guilty, and you can still delude yourself into thinking you did something. It's also much safer than approaching the guilty, who in this case (1) don't think much of women, and (2) tend to kill you.

I can't decide which is more difficult -- listening to Yoko or looking at her.

Why isn't it working? The answer is simple. Terrorists, criminals and despots clearly don't listen to enough FM radio.
Haha! Good one!

"We need to give peace a chance? We were giving peace a chance, but then a bunch of crazies hijacked airplanes and took innocent lives." Spot on. I need to remember that one.
"She may start agreeing, and the next thing you know you'll be strolling through Central Park and see her latest piece of art a statue dedicated to the futility of symbolism."
I'd pay to see that. Just as long as her hideous face isn't a part of it.

Hey, lookit! We beat the link to the fundraising threads!
{PS...I came across your book the other day cleaning out my computer lab. Thanks again for the autograph!}
To: Cyber Liberty
My pleasure! Thanks for buying it.
Now where is that fundraiser link?

Imagine all people living life in peace. Hey, I can imagine it, Yoko, but it hasn't solved anything!
Typical feel-good nonsense from an irreligious drone of the Land of Ought-to-Be.
To: Starmaker
I think this writer needs to mellow out. If Imagine all people living life in peace. makes you uncomfortable or pissed off then maybe YOU'VE got the problem. How about just taking a good thought for what it is..... a good thought!!

Will they please give that vastly overrated song a burial?! I have never seen what was the big attraction to that song. I guess a person has to be stoned or mired in pretentiousness to appreciate it.

The world certainly needs peace and a lot of love now. I certainly agree with that. However, preaching to the choir via billboards and ultimately looking to Man to accomplish peace by himself is, in a word, delusion.

Because Yoko Ono is an idiot.

How about just taking a good thought for what it is..... a good thought!! Yes, it is a good thought. The trouble with most liberals is that words and feelings are just as good, or better than, real solutions. That's why it's easy for them to sit on their high horse and spout platitudes about how we should understand the terrorists. If someone has a knife to my throat, I'm not thinking about his motivation, I'm trying to figure out a way to remove the knife from my throat without dying. Liberals don't understand that concept, or at best pay lip service to it. Tough times call for tough choices.

She's not that dumb. She had, at one time, hired Paxton Quigley to be her personal bodyguard (armed with guns, no less). Ms. Quigley is the author of the book, Armed and Female.

The song also contains the line "Imagine no possessions. I wonder if you can." When do you suppose she'll be paying for a billboard that says that?
To: Peter Porcupine
It also says
"Imagine there's no Heaven." Bin Laden's followers would've loved that!
