Donate to Free Republic to help keep the lights on! Do it now!!!

Since the first rebel's yell for America's freedom was heard across this great land, Americans have yearned to keep liberty alive. Today we face numerous challenges to our Constitution and Bill of Rights. We have a choice. One is to sit back and do nothing. The other is as our President George W. Bush said at his Inauguration Speech, to become actively involved as citizens. Make our voices heard. Shout it out loud so that Congress can hear our views.

FReeRepublic gives us that awesome opportunity. So you can sit back and let others Donate and Bump, or you can become involved...truly it feels really good!!!

My attempt to get additional contributions from NM Freepers has not yet succeeded (sigh), though some might be monthlies (I don't have time to check). But for the others, I guess they're content to have the other 49 states do the heavy lifting. :>((

Is this Bush Country, or what?
Well, no matter if your county is colored blue or red, FREEREPUBLIC.com is and with your continued support and donations FREEREPUBLIC.com just may change the hue of those blue colored counties.
And the map of the USA will truly be colored AWESOME!!!

State Challenge update as of post #1361. Texas over took the race! Come on, get going! Be the state that can add all Never Never Land contributions to you state! Note: in post 1202, I double entered $50 for California. That has been corrected. It was early, and Fiddlstix hadn't brought the coffee yet.

It will be very easy for you to say, "Well, I will do something, some day. When I can afford it, I am going to." But would you let an old "grad" tell you one thing now? Giving is a habit. Get into the habit now, because you will never be able to afford to give and contribute, thus to repay the obligation you owe to those people who made this college possible, if you wait until you think you can afford it. Start now regardless of how small, and in the days to come when you are confronted with demands for many worthwhile causes and charities I think you will find that you will give dutifully to all the worthy ones. But here and there you will pick one or two that will be favorites, and you can do no better than to pick this, your Alma Mater, because you will not only be repaying your own personal obligations, you will be making your contribution to the very process which has made and continues to keep America great.

This democracy of ours which sometimes we've treated so lightly, is more than ever a comfortable cloak, so let us not tear it asunder, for no man knows once it is destroyed where or when he will find its protective warmth again. ~ Ronald Reagan

Thanks for the Bush Country map.

However, we conservative refugees who live in the Goron Blue areas, need Free Republic even more than other Freepers.

We are like the poor folks who lived behind the iron curtain in Europe.

Their only way to find out the truth was via Radio Free Europe and the rare real printed news that they got.

Those of us who live in the dreaded Blue counties, can listen to Rush, Sean and other conservative talks show hosts.

However, our greatest link to sanity and real people is our link with Free Republic.

Those of us in the Blue Left Wing counties must support Free Republic to maintain this link with sanity, decent friends and reality.

If you live in a Blue County please pledge at least $5/month for your daily cure to depression.

If you live in Blue County, cancel your subscription to your left wing maggot infested fish wrap and send that money to Free Republic. That way you strike two blows for the conservative way. First you take $'s from the maggots who own and control the left wing fish wrap. Second you help to keep Free Republic alive as your link to sanity!

I quoted you for my new thread bombing campaign:

Pay up.
Ammo costs.

"We have to stay vigilant, we have to fight, we can not let the RATS
destroy our Republic! We have made a difference. Free Republic is that tool for
us to gather, meet like minded individuals and fight for all we believe.
Keep this web site running. The liberals hate us, so we must be on the right track!"

Our Moms, Dads, Grandparents, GreatGrandparents sure knew what the drill was 60 years ago. They had one goal. The goal to keep America FREE. They vigorously defended, protected and preserved our Liberty.
They gave all they could give and some gave all.

It's our turn now. They handed the Torch of FReedom vibrantly intact to us. We must never let their courageous victory be dimmed from our lack of care and love. Keep their faithful dedication to Liberty alive. Keep FReedom's hope alive for future generations of Americans. There is no greater love than what a man and woman can give to their country and their countrymen. Thank you for helping keep Liberty's light glowing brilliantly. It's easy to Bump and it may be a little harder to donate, but every donation no matter what size is greatly appreciated by FReeRepublic.com.
