The FBI field office in Annapolis, MD. (Anne Arundel County) is one of the most corrupt FBI field offices in the U.S.
The Special Agent in Charge of this field office is a Dave Midura and one of his agents, Marina Murphy are personally involved in very serious public corruption.

"Anytime anyone gets shot, whether it's the right or wrong person -- we are traumatized by it as well," said FBI spokesman Peter Gulotta. I'm sure the victim of this "accident" will be comforted by the words of this thug.

The FBI under Clinton/Reno became a murderous group of Civil Rights violating thugs, above the law.
Granted there is a war on, but Bush has yet to clean up the Democrat Party stench at the entire Dept. of Justice.

This is a good reason to take weapons away from federal cops until they figure out how to do it the right way.

Some lucky person just became a millionaire, at taxpayer expense.
Of course, he has to live with scars and pain of being shot in the face by some trigger-happy government agent.

An FBI agent walked up to the car and fired a single bullet from an M-4 assault rifle, hitting the male passenger in the face, authorities said. I thought it was illegal in Maryland for a person to own that rifle.
Oh, I forgot. The laws are only for us peasants.

This agent should be prosecuted and barred from public positions. Will that happen? I doubt it. Just mho.

Why don't we ever have the name and photo of the idiots who abuse their power like this?
Let's post his ugly mug ALL over the place, and let him be castigated by the community and the nation.

The FBI had some corrupt agents in it earlier, but it went far downhill under clinton and Reno, right up to the highest levels. I have seen absolutely NO evidence that Bush has attempted to do a damned thing to straighten things out. As I've said before, this is his worst failure as a president--to leave corrupt clintonoids in place all over his administration, especially in the FBI and the CIA.

The FBI would not comment last night on why the agent fired the weapon, whether it was a mistake or an attempt at self-defense, Gulotta said.Shooting victim was armed with a pack of cigarettes. The FBI agent was heard to say, "I shot him to protect the passengers in the vehicle from the effects of second hand smoke..."

"Anytime anyone gets shot, whether it's the right or wrong person -- we are traumatized by it as well,"poor, poor FLEOs. I'm sure that this is devastating them & they probably haven't gotten over the Post Traumatic Syndrome
from Waco and Ruby Ridge yet. Golly gee, I sure hope this doesn't impair there efforts to search for all those terrorists still on the run in the US.
Come to think of it, Waco and Ruby Ridge is probably why they were unable to get Mohhamad Atta and the rest of his
crew that were here on expired visas and such prior to 9-11. Congress better raise our taxes to get these dedicated public servants some therapy.

"will present its findings to a grand jury to determine if the agent should be charged with a crime." If? Damn the SOB stops the wrong car and shoots an unarmed man in the face and their investigating if he should be charged with a crime. Unbelievable.
"...civil rights division of the U.S. Department of Justice."
How about his God given unalienable rights?
"An FBI agent walked up to the car and fired a single bullet from an M-4 assault rifle, hitting the male passenger in the face, authorities said."
Damn even if this was the guy is this how the FBI arrest's people buy shooting first than asking questions?
"The FBI would not comment last night on why the agent fired the weapon, whether it was a mistake or an attempt at self-defense, Gulotta said."
How can it be an attempt at self defense unless the guy in the car attempted to attack the agent? What a crock of #@&+
