On the one hand, Hanoi Jane isn't worth the time or energy even to think about. SHe is a traitor, every bit as much as John Walker Lindh. On the other hand, like OJ, she should be reminded of her conduct for the remainder of her life, especially her lies about POWs on behalf of the NVA and VietCong. History has shown that we were on the right side of the Vietnam War, as that country disintegrated into mayhem and murder after we left (as it had been in the North). Ho was just another murdering thug, just like Mao, Stalin, Castro and Pol Pot. Hanoi Jane's views were nothing more than schoolgirl politics, only she had a willing media to spread her falsehoods. A lesson learned well by X42.

Hanoi Jane's views were nothing more than schoolgirl politics She's given a platform to this day by the likes of Barbara Walters, Katie Couric, Diane Sawyer.
She's a traitor for the broadcasts, etc., in 1972, but her crimes against America and our military continue to this day.
Her post-911 comment was that it should not be handled as a military matter, but as a legal matter.
Were she Jane Doe instead of Jane Fonda we could lightly dismiss her.
She still has the world's media as her megaphone and Ted "I'm Really A Communist Although I Play One On TeeVee" Turner's billions when the indictment hits the fan this month.
We are (again) at war, and she is again on the enemy's side.

Hanoi Jane's views were nothing more than schoolgirl politicsYou were doing ok until you made this statement. RJ, this was not schoolgirl politics, it was life and death to young men and women who were serving our country during this time. You sir, show your age with this statement and obviously don't have a clue as to the views of those of us who were their during this time.

Unfortunately we were betrayed twice by the jane incident. Once by her by what she did and said, and second by the government that didn't the proper action against her.
It's one thing to speak your mind in our country about something, and it's another to physically go into enemy territory, & be linked arm and arm with them in your criticisms.
We'll never know how much of a morale boost that was to them, and how many fellow Americans were killed or maimed because of her actions.
