I have had the feeling that her parents were involved since before the news came out about their lifestyle. There's something not quite right about them. I know they probably are not used to talking in front of a camera or being interviewed, but they act very fake. I instinctively don't trust them.

Your questions are the same things I have been wondering about. The child's bedroom was upstairs and from the pictures in the news, the windows did not look very large. I wonder just how this man got into that house to steal the child and without anyone hearing anything?

It makes me wonder a) did Westerfield sneak into the house to get the child as an action for revenge for some reason? and b) is the reason that no one heard anything because they were locked in the garage having one of the swinging events that they are accused of having? Something is really odd here.

Stop being on Travis' case! He's a father who cares! He sees discrepancies in the parents actions and their PR.

The facts are this:
1. The VD's did not check on their children for 11 hours.
2. It has been established that the VD's are sexual swingers.
3. The alarm went off twice, father nor mother checked on children when the alarm went off. They have said so in the press.
4. The mother brought home strangers, allegedly to have sex with, possibly do drugs with.
5. The father, joined them at 2:30 a.m. when mother brought home the strangers. Again, allegedly, to have sex.
6. The mother is very concerned about her appearance on television.
7. The parents hired a public relations firm a la the Ramsey's.
8. Westerfield, their neighbor, and the one charged with the crime, might have had sexual relations with the mother.

BillO'Reilly will be airing a special on the Fox network this month I believe on the corruption of children. Says he has been working on it for months.

He was really exercised about the Yates and van Dam cases last night. Blasted Ashcroft for not doing more to crack down on kiddie porn sites.

We as a society are further down the slippery slope that is leading to our ruination. Even on this thread we are admonished not to judge the parents. If not us, then who? Do we wait around until pedophilia and child murder for sex becomes just another lifestyle choice? Then scratch our heads and say "how the hell did that happen?

There were numerous Freep Reports, of those with live satellite feeds, that off camera on the Larry King show, Brenda VD was heard asking, "Who did the book deal for the Ramsey's?  Can we get the name?"

Anger is commonly felt. Months after the death of my son, I would find myself suddenly smashing my fist into walls and other inanimate objects in reaction to that emotion. Inexpressible sadness, bewilderment, and guilt are also present.

Freepers, for your own sake and for Danielle's sake, for now at least focus on compassion and prayer. If it's warranted, there will be time enough for recriminations when the facts come out at trial.

As a Christian parent, I would not let my children be alone with any adult in circumstances that could even lead to accusations. Its not prudent for my child.
