I guess that I need another look to win with my grand daughter! I can't concede defeat to a not even 3 year old.
The grandson has been a kind of paradox. With his parents he has been a high maintenance crybaby/crab. With me, he has been content to just lay on my chest for 10 to 15 minutes. If he went to sleep, I would put him in a crib and let him sleep. If he stayed awake, I would put him on a rug with toys and he would play by himself until his parents came back. As soon as he heard them he would cry and want to be held. I just couldn't feed him baby food fast enough. His gram ma had to shovel it in for him.
Now that he has been walking for about a month, he is like a minature sherman tank or robot. As soon as he hears a door open (especially the refrig door), he is at that open door trying to get in. He has pulled out drawers that his sister never did.
You can't take your eyes off of him for a minute. He is like a middle linebacker. He likes to bang his head on your leg and just laugh. He falls down and bounces up laughing. Now he cries when I leave and ignores his mother when she comes in. He now enjoys having slow PaPa feed him. He has learned to tease PaPa like his older sister.
Your state is sissy pink.
That has got to really stink!

My father passed away when I was young .. but my father in-laws makes up for it .. the girls just LOVE their PopPop and it's really funny to watch him with them ..
In fact .. whenever he stops by .. even the other kids in the neighborhood come running to get a hug from PopPop ..
Tooo cute for words ..
