They do sound like cuties .. the little one sounds like my middle girl .. everything in the house is like a treasure chest .. always having to look thru the drawers .. but it works out in the end .. Whenever I can't find something .. all I have to do is ask Dana .. lol

I bet they love spending time with their PaPa ..

My father passed away when I was young .. but my father in-laws makes up for it .. the girls just LOVE their PopPop and it's really funny to watch him with them ..

In fact .. whenever he stops by .. even the other kids in the neighborhood come running to get a hug from PopPop ..

Tooo cute for words ..

Actually his older sister knows where most everything is. I'm sure that he will be like his dad and will know where everything is and how it works.

The other grand dad lives on the East Coast has a new wife, #3, who is younger than his daughter, the mother of our grand children. He could care less about these wonderful grand kids, and that is his problem.

It seems like young kids, toddlers and babies recognize the friendly grandparents even if they aren't their grand parents. My wife and I seem to attract these little ones like magnets attracting pieces of metal. Sometimes we may resemble their Grandparents and often they really don't see their grandparents and just sense something with us! My wife calls it the Grandparent pherome.

Our children and Grand Children are one of the main reasons we need a strong Free Republic. Our donations to Free Republic are like a buying a good insurance policy for our children's re their freedom and their future!

Your girls are lucky. Both of my husband's parent are gone and my parents have chosen to ignore their grand-daughter- so she has no grandparents. I'm fortunate in my friends, some of whom coould be my own grandparents, they consider my daughter as one of their own.
