80,000 Freepers and Growing - Freepathon

When Jim Robinson started Free Republic in September, 1996 to expose the corruption in government and particularly the Clinton Whitehouse, he was alone. Now six years later, Free Republic has 80,000 registered members and who knows how many visit this site often, just to keep up on the latest conservative thinking.
Folks, you all know where this is going, Free Republic is a user supported website and it is time to support it. Four times a year we have this freepathon to donate a few dollars to pay for the bandwidth and expenses necessary to keep Free Republic online, and we do so with gratitude and cheer because of what is offered and accomplished by the existence of Free Republic.
Free Republic does not charge a membership fee or get supported by a government grant. No, people from across the World make donations large and small because they see the value of Free Republic. So if you're one that appreciates this site and want to see it continue, please send in a few dollars to help keep it alive.

It's a good thing that I'm not trying to remember the amounts :)
Thank you Maryland and Wyoming.

Did you know it takes over 24 hours to drive around Lake Michigan? What about just swimming across it?

. Are there other items that have been added to the budget to replace the $15,000 reduction in bandwidth charges? There's always other expenses, but the last few months have been a little less worrisome then times past. A little cushion is a good thing. : )

Roughly 75 miles swimming at 1.5 miles/hour in frigid waters; I'd rather drive. Of course, a good boat can do it in less than 4 hours, so if you can afford the ferry between Manitowoc and (I forget the Michigan end), and you're stuck in the middle, do it.

I think d14truth and WIMom might be working on it. Just looking through what's been done so far, Pennsylvania would do rather well, but California and Never Never Land would likely take the top 2 spots.
To: steveegg, WIMOM
no I mean WIMOM's post of the Cheesehead hats, I'm a Bears fan, me and WIMOM have a Packer Bears rivalry.
To: WillaJohns
Thank you sir. If we could get more people to donate just $1.00 a month, this place would be rocking.
Thanks again,
Marine Inspector
To: d14truth
I think Never Never Land is DC.
