When Jim Robinson started Free Republic in September, 1996 to expose the corruption in government and particularly the Clinton Whitehouse, he was alone. Now six years later, Free Republic has 80,000 registered members and who knows how many visit this site often, just to keep up on the latest conservative thinking.
Folks, you all know where this is going, Free Republic is a user supported website and it is time to support it. Four times a year we have this freepathon to donate a few dollars to pay for the bandwidth and expenses necessary to keep Free Republic online, and we do so with gratitude and cheer because of what is offered and accomplished by the existence of Free Republic.
Free Republic does not charge a membership fee or get supported by a government grant. No, people from across the World make donations large and small because they see the value of Free Republic. So if you're one that appreciates this site and want to see it continue, please send in a few dollars to help keep it alive.

Actually this would be easy to document in a scientific way.
Find some very frustrated conservatives who don't know about Free Republic. Run T cell tests on them to see how powerful their immune system is before Free Republic. This would be their base line levels of T cells before the healthy exposure to Free Republic and as a monthly donor.
Then, after that base line is established, have them donate to Free Republic and participate on line for a month. Then measure the T Cell levels they have at the time.
Since stress, unhappiness, high anxiety and depression will depress the T cell levels, the before FR base line levels will/should be lower than the after experiencing FR for one month levels. Most of these people after just one month on Free Republic would have a healthy increase in T cell levels versus their non Free Republic base line levels. The T cell increases would document an inhanced immune system.
Jim Rob could charge their HMO's and PPO's a fee for improving their immunity and health with increased levels of T Cells!
