80,000 Freepers and Growing - Freepathon

When Jim Robinson started Free Republic in September, 1996 to expose the corruption in government and particularly the Clinton Whitehouse, he was alone. Now six years later, Free Republic has 80,000 registered members and who knows how many visit this site often, just to keep up on the latest conservative thinking.

Folks, you all know where this is going, Free Republic is a user supported website and it is time to support it. Four times a year we have this freepathon to donate a few dollars to pay for the bandwidth and expenses necessary to keep Free Republic online, and we do so with gratitude and cheer because of what is offered and accomplished by the existence of Free Republic.

Free Republic does not charge a membership fee or get supported by a government grant. No, people from across the World make donations large and small because they see the value of Free Republic. I have had a few requests to repost my latest essay on Freeloaders and Freeploaders.

"Free Loader is a generic term for anyone who likes for someone else to pay for his/her share of living.

Free Loaders and Freep Loaders are infected with a virus that useful adults grow immune to when they become of age.

This virus if left unchecked (no checks to the providers of the service) can eventually totally infect these individuals. When, that happens they become a socialist or a commy free loader. They will register as a demonicRat.

Then, they will expect society to pay for their rent, food, medicine, health care, transportation plus a monthly check for not working! If they are lucky, they can become a Bill Clintoon or a Tommy Da$$hole and really strike it rich!

During every FReepathon, we try to keep track of what each state donates. When you make your donation, let BADJOE know what state it's coming from, and when he reports it, it'll get credited to the state or country of your choice.

If someone from the top 5 states, any foreign countries and a deployed serviceman wants to see their state in color, sing out. It would look so much better than the bold I have now.

While we're on colors, there's 5 states on the Sissy Pink list. That means that nobody from those locales has sent a dime in new money yet (either a new donation or an increase in their monthlies). Please end the embarrassment.
