Clinton to dedicate life to redistributing world's wealth

Former US president Bill Clinton today vowed to dedicate the rest of his life to helping redistribute the world's wealth.

At his fourth Australian speaking engagement, Mr Clinton said prosperous nations including Australia and the United States held the key to the world's future.

He said it would cost America $US2.5 billion ($A4.87 billion) to meet UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan's request for an extra $US10 billion ($A19.47 billion) to fight AIDS and other infections diseases.

"For us, you know what that is?" he asked the $1,100-a-head charity dinner in Melbourne for the Microsurgery Foundation.

"Two-and-a-half months of the Afghan war, and about one tenth of one per cent of the federal budget.

"That's it.

"There are 40 million AIDS cases a day and if we don't do something about it, there will be 100 million AIDS cases a day."

Mr Clinton said Australians needed to identify with people of poorer nations.

"If we can, then our children will have the most peaceful and prosperous and the most interesting and fun time in all of human history," he said.

"I'm going to do what I can for the rest of my life to make that happen, and I hope you will too.

The 42nd president of the United States said Australians should not be afraid of change, or of people who were different.

Such fears had resulted in the assassinations of Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Israeli President Yitzak Rabin and the September 11 terrorist attacks.

"We are struggling to find a balance in our two countries to not just tolerate people who are different, but actually venerate those differences, respect them, celebrate them, in the context of our common humanity," he said.

In a direct reference to the Howard government's woes, Mr Clinton also warned Australia needed to pull its weight in addressing global warming or the refugee crisis would get worse.

"If the world warms in the next 50 years as it has done in the last 10, ...agricultural production will be disrupted across the globe," he said.

"You'll have literally millions upon millions of food refugees, leading to more violence, more disruption and more boatloads of refugees that you will have to face."

I don't think Bill Clinton will take a vow of poverty any time soon. As usual the scumbag known as the Great Impeached is talking from both sides of his mouth. Now that's he safely out of office, he feels free to promote socialism. Yeah right, for nothing will keep the poor of the world poorer than the heavy hand of government on their backs keeping them down. Now there's liberal compassion for y'all.

Why don't the SOCIALISTS just BAN all RICH people right NOW? (Don't answer, it's rhetorical, but I'm so sick and tired of these people that it got me thinking of them like those going after smokers.....why don't they ban cigarettes - BECAUSE THEY WANT THE MONEY!!!)

"I'd like to force the rich to give
In perfect har-mon-ey
I'd like to hold them by the neck and pick their pockets, whee!

I'd like to build each poor a house
And furnish it with love
I'd like to hold them in my hand, give each a treasure-trove

I'd like to see the world, for once,
All leeching hand-in-hand
And have them echo to the hills, 'Bill Clinton, ain't he grand!'

Hubba Bubba, I'm the ree-al thing!
Hubba Bubba, I'm the ree-al thing!"

Everyday he tops what he did the day before.Am I going to live the rest of my life having to hear what Hill and Bill think?I cannot stand it.

Yes, unfortunately the citizens of the world ARE going to have to put up w/ him for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time.Do you realize he's only been a "former pres" for just over a year? It's enough to just wish he'd be "Whisked into the Cornfield".(An old Twilight Zone Reference where 8 yr. old Anthony would wish things into the Cornfield that made him unhappy)It hasn't worked coming from my mind just yet.But unfortunately, there's still plenty of time to "think those bad thoughts" like Anthony did.

"He can start his redistribution scheme right now. He can give his money to me". He can give his money to me too. Our federal and state income taxes are due April 15 - haven't done them yet because our accountant's form is as complicated as the IRS's and then he charges us $350.00. We just paid our real estate and school taxes. We just paid our water bill. Each month we pay $600 for health insurance (self employed and must pay a co-payment). Plus a monthly mortgage payment, life insurance premiums, car insurance, phone, heating, food -- HELP Bill. Yeah, he can redistribute our income, but it's about $25.00/mo. after we pay our bills. I despise Bill Clinton and idiotic liberals/communists like him. And some of my tax-paying dollars go to support this useless creep's office in Harlem and his useless wife's trip to Israel. I'm in New York State and am shamed that that they voted for Hillary Clinton.

I believe what he is tying to do is deflect. More than that, the media and real information ,he pays those laywers so much. They're great. They are tying up us on meaningless online rants when the real muscle is elsewhere. Remember, clintoon is a real f'ing devil and he has his lawyers. Many of these don't need kneepads, they walk upright are intent of destroying this world.

I think the Gov. of Arkansas has done something like that (Huckleby ?) for those that didn't want a tax cut. Your idea should just spread like a grass fire through the soft-hearted liberals. NOT

Bill Clinton today vowed to dedicate the rest of his life to helping redistribute the world's wealth.

Here's how ti works:

Corrupt dictators take money from their poor in hellhole countries ...

then give BIG donations to Clinton and his ilk...

in return the corrupt dictabors receive billions from the US taxpayer...

and that money goes to the corrupt dictator.

Clinton's have been 'redistributing' wealth to themselves for a long time...
