Can someone PLEASE explain to me why, given the tendency to support of the Palestinian cause among the liberal elites, given the outright anti-Semitism (and I'm using the word in the correct way this time) of such leftist stalwarts as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, given the prominence that Jewish Americans have had among the ranks of conservatives (Dr. Kissinger, Ari Fleischer, Ben Stein, Michael Medved and Dr. Laura Schlessinger are just a handful that come to mind right off the top)...

I mean, criminy, Hillary had the famous smooch with Suha Arafat, kissed the rings of Sharpton and Jackson, and she got a HUGE majority of the Jewish vote in New York!

I think it is the old jewish vote to be honest and the pro-abortion that gets them to vote. The threat of social security being taken away always is scaring them. I work with a huge Bush hating Dem who says just the most ridiculous things like Bush is going to wipe out our social security in 4 short years.Bush is a murdering junkie...etc...just usual DU swill...they really do exist.

Partly because Christians and Christian evangelism isassociated with Republicans. Arafat lovers are preferable to those who try to convert others. I suppose their are other reasons too.
