What is the biggest lie of "liberals" in this country ever? What idea, concept, "fact", law, or position is their biggest lie in your mind? What "liberal" lie or cliche really gets your blood boiling whenever you hear it or see it expressed?

The lie that bothers me most is that "liberalism" (that is, socialism) is the intellectual position. Given the bloody history of the 20th century, the truth is that a socialist is probably more brain-dead than an astrology buff.

My personal choice: The theft of the word "progressive".

By this linguistic larceny, all "progress" moves in a leftward direction. The common acceptance of this formula has ceded control to the socialists of the entire idea of human progress. "Right" is backward, and "Left" is forward. It's long past time for Conservatives to challenge this act of intellectual thievery by reasserting the idea of Freedom as progress. It's more important than you may think.
