The Petition to New York City regarding the Firefighter Memorial
protesting the originally proposed Ground Zero Flag Raising Statue and seeking that the as yet unstated plans for a memorial be non-political and historically correct, has surpassed the 250,000 signature mark. It now stands at:
250,650 Signatures
The First 120,000 signatures have been sent to New York firefighters for delivery to the Mayor's Office.
The next 130,000 signatures will be on their way as soon as they are extracted, printed and bound. We will keep doing this until it is clear that plans for the memorial are not politcally driven and are not revisionist. That being the case, please continue to point others towards the petition site at:
http://www.petitiononline.com/flgraise/
to sign and forward the petition on to all they know. We can win this fight and in the process see many of our fellow Americans awakened to the PC-BS going on all around them which they in turn will question and then fight.

Sometime Tuesday is my off the cuff guess. Matbe late Monday if it picks up on MOnday, But I believe it'll be Tuesday sometime once the numbers kick in.
d14truth says Tuesday morning (unless it "slips under the wire on Monday," lol);
ForGod'sSake says Monday late afternoon - early evening, but he's "hedging his bets;"
Jeff says sometime Tuesday, maybe Monday (that's real safe bet there, Jeff-----would that work in poker? lol)
I revised my guess to Monday noon after listening (wisely) to d14's analysis of the situation.
kayak: did you place your bets? feel free to participate here
And the numbers now read: 286,376
Day 01 - = January 15 = *2,800-----Day 12 - Total = 101,600
Week 01 = 64,400-----Week 02 = 51,400 Total = 115,800
Week 03 = 35,600-----Week 04 = 41,800 Total = 193,200
Day 29 - 11,200 Total = 204,400----Day 36 - *8,500 Total = 266,400
Day 30 - 12,300 Total = 216,700----Day 37 - *7,800 Total = 274,200
Day 31 - 13,100 Total = 229,800----Day 38 - *6,800 Total = 281,000
Day 32 - *8,000 Total = 237,800----Day 39 - *4,900 Total = 285,900
Day 33 - *4,700 Total = 242,500
Day 34 - *6,800 Total = 249,300
Day 35 - *8,600 Total = 257,900
Day 40 - The 'flood' isn't over yet. LET'S ROLL!!! on.
286,424 (that's only about 3,600 to go)
Just 1 off this time---
286,424 (that's only about 13,600 to go) {;~)

Jeff says sometime Tuesday, maybe Monday (what a commitment; uh, Jeff, I suggest you come up with a better strategery here)
kayak: says by Tuesday noon we'll be at 300,000, unless it's sooner (always a comedian in every crowd)
My guess: Monday noon
Bets are on, unless someone wants to revise to his strategery and be more fair, but I won't mention any names . . . : )
286,525 now
I have that kind of day, too ..... but usually only on days that end in Y.
LOL, that's everyday, you nut. And I can tell you don't have bad days everyday.
