natureikarta ^ | 12 February, 2002

Posted on 02/18/2002 11:03:34 AM PST by Sam_Watkins

Estimated 20,000 Orthodox Jews demonstrating on Tuesday February 12th, in front of the Israeli Consulate in New York City, organized by the Central Rabbinical Congress of USA and Canada, to voice their opposition to the existence of the state of Israel, their suppression of religion and brutal treatment of religious people.

The posters read as follows: [L-R] "Israel" dos not represent world Jewry
Rabbinical leaders fought Zionism since its inception
Authentic Rabbis always opposed Zionism and the State of Israel
Zionism have no right to rule over any part of the holy land
No doubt! Herzl's dream was a catastrophe for Jews
Zionism stole the name of Jews
"Israel" dos not represent world Jewry
Jews mourn 53 years existence of "Israel"
True Jews will never recognize Israel
Torah Jewry is united against Zionism & the State of Israel
Zionist ideology opposes the Creator
Oh No! Zionism will never succeed
We are against "Israel" because we are Jews
Zionism and Judaism are extreme opposites
Background sign: Israeli government: stop oppressing religious Jewry in the State of Israel

Actually this link you posted is from a rather pointed article detailing the animus of the secular Israeli leftists for the entire spectrum of religious Jewry.

Animus, I might have used hatred.

Is Neturei Karta afraid of another Holocaust? It seems like they feel guilty (God is punishing them) and would give anything to the arabs if we could just live in "peace". They seem to feel if Jews are nice to Arabs, Arabs will be nice to them.

Actually, based on conversations that I & members of my family have had with the NK, they seem to believe that if the secular state of Israel would just cease to exist, along with all the secular Jewish reform, conservative, and atheists and the zionistic orthodox such as those heretical "Lubavitchers" and in fact all the Jews except for the pure "faithful" (meaning the NK and some Satmar tagalongs), they can go back to living in cheerful dhimmitude until the Messiah comes. If the Arabs don't kill them.

In any case, the history of both fascist and Soviet support for Zionist terrorists is documented fact

No it isn't. The fascists in Germany could care less about the Jews. At first they didn't care where they went. After that, it was to their destruction. And the history of Soviet "support" is no more than that offered by the British, Americans, and any number of other countries which originally recognized Israel's right to exist. You make overblown scenarios out of common historical processes and events. There is a psychological state attendant to that. It's called psychosis.

Are they willing to die for this belief?

Oh yeah.

But there is one major difference between the Neturei Karta and the Taliban/Al Qaeda which is, the Neturei Karta don't believe in killing others to achieve salvation.

So let me get this straight. We're supposd to wage a war over these Semitic (Arabs are Semites, too) fairy tales?

The protestors above are crazy!  That is like hating oneself.  It is as ridiculous as a Christian being anti-semitic, which is the same as a Christian being anti-christ.  The rally below is correct.

>The rally, staged by the Council of Settlers of Judea, Samaria and Gaza, was billed as a memorial for slain Tourism Minister Rehavam Ze'evi.

A good man who was ruthlessly murdered.

>Drawing a boisterous crowd of 80,000 mainly Orthodox Jews to Jerusalem's Zion Square, its themes included stepping up the war against terrorism and banishing Yasser Arafat from the territories. At least four speakers, including a leader of Ze'evi's Moledet Party, Knesset Member Benny Elon, called for the "transfer" of the Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza to the 22 other Arab nations as demonstrators brandished signs that described Mr. Arafat and Osama bin Laden as "twins."

These are correct positions!

The Muslims will never be nice to the Jews, In fact, they desire nothing less than the annhilation of their Semitic brothers.

What a heck is this now?
"1,000 top-level reserve generals, colonels and officials from the internal and external security agencies, Shin Bet and Mossad?"
What is this?
Mishugena, commie, antisemitic, self-hating peacenik officers?
More
Where is Begin (with his good military education) when we need him?

It's disgusting that someone could openly advocate such a vile thing -- and utterly revolting that someone could post this on FR without a "barf alert".

I probably would have posted this article with a 'barf alert' too, but I did not post it.

In case you have not noticed, Jews are being 'cleansed' every day now - almost every hour, by suicide bombers.

PS - Cal Thomas, Christian, has advocated much the same thing that the Orthodox rally attendants in Israel did...so has George Will.

Now you are catching on...PS they are being encouraged by Barak. It's all political.

You think people like that can't be Lefties? Remember Ramsey Clark? Father Berrigan? Well, you were probably not living in the US then.

Look them up on the internet....

If you mean by being ceansed, moving, then I wonder why the palestinans are not moving. If not, what do you mean by being cleansed? Murdered? Aren't mor Palestinians being murdrered than Jewish Israelis? ( I have no other term to use because there are no Palestinian Jews that I know of, unless you want to count the ones in the west bank, as such.)

You know, one of the unsatisfactory things about the Internet is that it provides no way to have a trash-mouthed jerk horse-whipped on the public square for swinish remarks to a woman. Just an observation, nothing personal.

You might find this instructive. And if you continue to mess around with my name, I may be forced to mess around with yours. From::

A Coalition of Terror, by Cal Thomas

-SNIP-'It should now be clear that Israel cannot tolerate a huge Arab population within its borders, so a political decision must be made. Most Arabs and Palestinians appear to be nonviolent but it can be difficult to tell the difference. As Middle East analyst Emanuel Winston (a research associate of the Freeman Center for Strategic Studies in Houston) notes in a recent article: "The terrorists sometimes come in with workers, or the Arab community offers safe houses in Israel to protect the terrorists.''

The Jews have misplaced their faith. Gifted with thinking the best about human potential, Jews have made decisions that too often are not in their interests -- such as allowing mortal enemies to live among them and giving up land seized for their own protection after five wars and numerous terrorist attacks.

Israel should declare its intention to transfer large numbers of its Palestinian residents to Arab nations. This sounds radical until one considers that is precisely what Kuwait and Saudi Arabia have done. After the Palestinians assisted Saddam Hussein in Iraq's invasion of Kuwait during the Gulf War (which Arafat cheered while calling on Hussein to shell Israel), Kuwait forcibly evicted and transferred to Jordan about 300,000 Palestinians, labeling them as traitors and a fifth column. Saudi Arabia also recognized Arafat's betrayal of their Kuwaiti hosts by transferring about 350,000 Palestinians to Jordan.

Those diplomats who regularly denounce Israel for any perceived slight against Palestinians were noticeably silent about these transfers. As Emanuel Winston writes in a another commentary: "No Arab country, other than Jordan, trusts or welcomes Palestinians into its country as citizens. Even the radical Arab nations of Syria (and) Lebanon (under Syrian control), Iraq and Iran keep them segregated in squalid refugee camps, knowing full well their reputation for breaking agreements and conspiring against their host government.''

How quickly we forget "Black September'' in 1970. Arafat tried to overthrow King Hussein of Jordan. Hussein killed thousands and drove Arafat and his Palestinians into Lebanon. Arafat, who had broken numerous agreements by then, began a 12-year reign of terror against Christian and Muslim Lebanese. More than 100,000 Lebanese were murdered. raped and tortured by Arafat's Palestinians.

The current model of "land for peace'' is not working, nor can it work given the objectives of Arafat and Israel's other enemies. Eviction is a better avenue to stability. Will it happen? Probably not. Should it? Yes.'

I am curious as to the source of this news.

Since no source is given anywhere on the page, I would assume that the source was this Naturei Karta group itself. I shall assume that the numbers have been multiplied X 500 or so unless evidence from a real news source is linked here. Even the NYT would be a better source than this.

What is this?

Wow. Where does one begin? It's difficult to talk about. It isn't because I'm knotbitter, because we all are at some time or another. The twills of the weave criss-cross the landscape, producing a fabric of ongoing strife and war. Maybe if capo boss, don Walgreen intervened with an offer they couldn't refuse? Or as Al D. Lewis once said (or was it Lewis Carroll):

"Go ask Alice,
when she's ten feet tall"

alright, it was Grace Slick
