Doesn't surprise me a bit. The first thing liberals want to do is spend your money on themselves. The last thing they want to do is actually solve a problem. That would take away their mandate. AIDS is very easy to prevent, and that's the last thing they want!

Clinton spent tons of money on ads warning about AIDS in homosexual porno magazines (as if anyone who reads them is unaware of the danger). Kept many of them afloat and probably a few started up just to get the dough. The payback, of course, was the magazines bashed Republicans and mobilized Democrat voters to get out and vote.

....Aids is getting 2 BILLION this year and a guy Bill O'RIELY interviewed the other night, I thinks it was (Wayne Turner) said it isn't enough.
....Bill says they should get no more until they can prove the money will be spent on those who need it, not stupid programs listed above.

I am wondering if some of this money is going for the horrific programs in our schools? You can bet if money is going into the schools, it would NOT be into a program about abstinence.

Immediately after 9-11, I, for the first time in a long while, dropped a $5 bill in the Red Cross bucket at Wal-Mart, thinking I was going to help someone. Lo and behold, we found out that a lot of the donations didn't go to help the victims. This story, and what we have heard about the crap going on after 9-11 is the reason I don't give money to charities.

And the money would not be going into anything like learning something worthwhile either.
To: Paul Atreides
If you do want to suppot goot charities, look into the Salvation Army. Do some digging on your own if you want, but i have found them to be one of the best charities around, no $200,000/year directors, etc. No politically correct crap.

And the money would not be going into anything like learning something worthwhile either. How true, how true!

AIDS is NOT a disease...it's a Civil Rights status.
To: GrandMoM
If AIDS were treated as a medical problem an end would be in sight.
Since it's treated like a political problem, it will never end.

The Stop AIDS Project, also in San Francisco, had been under public scrutiny for sponsoring programs that are said to promote promiscuity. The CAGW study found that the group, which received $700,000 from the CDC in 2001, is sponsoring at the end of the month "GUYWATCH: Blow by Blow," a seminar to teach gay men how to turn on their partners. When asked about their programs earlier this month, Stop AIDS Director Darlene Weide said, "We did everything by the book, we did everything by the rules and we'll continue to do that."
Hahahahahahaha
